How Not To Get Scammed Online When looking For A Business

There are according to Google search a few million people every month looking for information about starting an online business whether they have their own idea or want to join an existing business. A lot of people do have a great business idea and don’t know where to start to get their project off the ground.

Entrepreneurs can feel as though they are spinning in circles and making no progress toward their goal of starting an online home business.

Also people looking for a legitimate online business are overwhelmed by the many get rich schemes out there which usually promise the world but deliver very little.

A typical budding entrepreneur will turn to the internet and type into Google search the words “online business” or “work from home”. Then they get hit with a barrage of ads promising to solve their problems, make them six figures in a few months, without much effort at all.

The searcher might navigate from one ad to another, and if they feel brave enough, even enter their details into an opt-in box to receive some sort of free information.

Most of these websites are based in another country and there are no contact numbers, let alone and email address to verify it’s a real business opportunity. This raises suspicion and people generally do not proceed further as they are most likely a bit sceptical already anyway.

But for those who are brave enough to look further they are undoubtedly bombarded with countless success stories and pictures of flashy cars and homes and propositioned the “opportunity of a lifetime”.

Now, I am not saying that all these people do not own this wealth but the likelihood that the “average Joe” will be as successful as the millionaire who gave his testimonial on how he made it big is highly unlikely.  This is especially true if they have no Internet or online marketing experience.

Here is what you should be looking for in an online business…

1)      Do not apply unless you are prepared to invest into the business (There is no such thing as a free business!)

2)      You must be prepared and be willing to be coached and trained in order to be successful and this will definitely take time.

3)      You will have your ups and downs and you will often feel like giving it all up and getting a job instead and this is the case for many people.

4)      You will need to be able to talk to and connect with people otherwise it just won’t work, so if you are afraid of picking up the telephone the likelihood of success will be slim.

5)      It may take many months or years to make decent money.

6)      You must have a huge desire to change your circumstances and not give up at the first hurdle you come across.

7)        Purchasing training programs, DVD’s or motivational types of materials will definitely help you and keep you motivated.

You have two choices when it comes to an online business.

1)      Join an existing established company and sell their products or

2)      Start your own business selling your products and services.

All you need to do now is let your fingers "do the googling".

Take your time, do your homework, get testimonials, make sure the business is easy and make sure you get training!

I hope this helps you seperate the real businesses from the ummmm fake ones:)

To Your Success
