I Will Believe It When I See It! How To Handle This Statement From A Prospect

Have you ever had a prospect on the phone tell you “I will believe it when I see it”?

This can be common when people are new to network marketing or working from home and if people are too sceptical, then they will probably never join your business anyway so do not waste your time trying to convince them that it is real.

However........

You can actually have a bit “of fun” with your prospect when you get this kind of question and if you know how to do it and “pull it off” it can be a very empowering experience.

For e.g. The next time a prospect says “I need to see it first before I believe it” here are some responses you can say to them, but remember always to remain in your power and be in control of the conversation.

Answer 1) I can appreciate what you are saying but sometimes you need to dip your toe in the water before you can swim right?

Answer 2) I can understand you might not believe it but can I ask you something here (Name)? Prospect says yes.

Well you believe in electricity right? Prospect says yes. You believe in radio waves? Prospect says yes. You believe in energy? Prospect says yes, well all those things we cannot see but they do exist.

Sometimes you need to believe in it before you see it!

Most people thought the world was flat hundreds of years ago until someone proved it was actually round.

Who would have thought 100 years ago you could push a few buttons and send a message or a picture tens of thousands of miles through thin air for someone to read on the other side of the world?

Can I ask you (Name) are you a believer now?

If not or they don’t laugh or agree then they will probably never move forward so move on to the next prospect.
