Love what you do is the key to being successful
According to Google search there are at least a few million people every month looking for a business online or looking to work from home.
But where on earth people start, how can they follow their passions for what they love to do and what is the merry go round ride they take.
Well I will try to explain it here.....
People go to Google or yahoo and usually type in the keywords “Online business” or “work from home”. Then they hit with a barrage of ads promising to solve their problems make them six figures in a few months and all without doing much at all?
Usually the searcher goes from one ad to another, and if they feel brave enough even enter their details in the optin box to try and get more information.
The trouble is a lot of the websites and ads (in fact the majority) don’t actually tell the prospect what the business opportunity is or how they will benefit from it or how much it costs to invest in it.
This raises suspicion with a large majority of business seekers and because they already perhaps a bit sceptical they will not go any further.
But for those who are brave enough to look further they will be bombarded with countless success stories and pictures of flashy cars and homes and the “opportunity of a lifetime”.
Now I am not saying that all these people do not own this wealth but what I am asking is what is the possibility for the “average Joe” to be as successful as the next person especially if they have no internet or marketing experience.
Really what I believe is that the video sales page or the company should be upfront and say...
1) Do not apply unless you are prepared to invest into the business
2) You must be coached and trained in order to be successful and this will definitely take time.
3) You will have your ups and downs and sometimes in fact often you will feel like giving it all up and getting a job instead.
4) You need to be able to talk and connect with people either on the phone or in person otherwise it just won’t work
5) It may take you many months, a year or years to make decent money depending on the opportunity you join.
6) Unless you purchase a lot of training programs, DVD’s or motivational types of materials you will probably give up.
These would just be some of the warnings or messages people should receive as well as detailed information about the company and products they would be representing.
So if people have come this far then they usually start off with a company, purchase a product or two then get going.
They usually get excited about what they are doing and promptly tell all their friends and family and attempt to get them to join up to and end up very quickly in the “NFL or no friends left club”.
Quite soon they make no sales or only a few and say “it was all too hard” and it “didn’t work” and many other statements like that and call it quits.
The trouble is unless you love what you do, follow your passion, or you are making a lot of money, or have the potential to make a lot of money with high ticket items then you just won’t pursue the world of online businesses.
Also if people are not defeated at this stage either by their lack of success or their partner or friends putting the hard word on them, then they will try another company thinking that their product, service or payment plan is better and they will make money that way.
The truth is unless you follow your passion and do what you love to do then it can be just like a job except without the regular pay packet.
So first you need to find your passion for what you love to do.
Once you have worked out what your passion is or passions in some cases then you need to search for a business that revolves around that, or even better start your own business based around your passion.
For example, let’s say your passion is keeping fit and healthy, then your online business should be based around that and if you are to join a company it shouldn’t be selling shares or E-bay it should be based around fitness and nutrition.
It makes sense really doesn’t it?
If you are a car enthusiast for example and you spend the whole week talking about cars, going to car races, and you have car pictures all over your office wall then why would you join a company that sells vitamins?
Surely you would look for a business based around your passion for cars or start your own business where you can market products associated with cars.
If only we all flowed our hear and passion rather than just seeing the dollar signs there would be a lot more millionaires.
