Clear Your Way

Several years ago I helped organize a conference of Nikken networkers in Alberta, and our theme was "Clear the Way - Hantayo!"

I admit at the time, I had a bit of trouble with that - I wasn't sure what it meant - really. Now, after more studying, reading and listening, I think I've grasped the meaning. Joe Vitale, Dr. Robert Anthony and Bob Proctor have influenced me the most.

So many of our actions and beliefs are rooted in the past - what our parents, our teachers, our school mates, our religions - told us. As youngsters, we have not yet developed the ability to think critically - we're just sponges, soaking up data, opinions, and preconceptions. We don't yet know just how those words will mould our beliefs, our self-doubts, our future actions.

As people, as entrepreneurs, we each must reach into our minds and souls, look for beliefs and fears that are not serving us. Ask yourself whether that belief is moving you away or toward your goals and dreams.

If we have a clearly defined 'WHY', then it is much clearer to see how those beliefs are affecting our actions and our results.

So - identify that 'WHY', then clear the way.
