Why do people jump from one business to another

I was on a webinar last night that was very good. Many topics were covered, but one really stuck out to me. They got on the topic of entrepreneurs who move from one business to another and how there seems to be a common thread in most if not all of them.

Before I talk about that common thread is, first I want to make sure you understand what I mean when I talk about a person who jumps from business to business.We all know people like this, heck; we might be people like this! They sign up in a business and man o’ man, they are excited! They tell everyone they know, they are on the phone all the time and they are pumped! A few months later, they aren’t making a couple thousand so they start looking for another biz opp because obviously the last biz wasn’t the right one. So then they find the “one” and you are the first to hear about it. They are so sure this is the “one” that they and you are going to make it big in! And then the cycle continues…I’m sure you know what I’m talking about So here is the common thread…How many people do you know who are successful in Network Marketing? Think of one of those people, now how many times do you see them move from business to business? Exactly, they don’t move around unless it is necessary. How do you expect to build a down line if you keep moving around!? For some reason many don’t get this, they continue to move around looking for the “perfect” business. Now I do realize there are those who have legitimate reasons to move to another business, those people are not who I’m talking about. Here are a few things to think about if you find yourself being one of those moving around a lot…First, when people see you moving around from business to business, they don’t take you seriously and they don’t look at you as a professional or a leader. (A big reason why you won’t build a big down line)The biggest problem I see with most business owners are, they don’t think like business owners. They are taking their business as a hobby or a get rich quick scheme. Many people don’t want to invest in themselves and learn how to be the best entrepreneur they can be. They are limited in their thinking and because of that, they are missing out on a LOT. I recently wrote an eBook on this called “The Empire Mindset” that will be available shortly. I have truly been amazed how people’s thinking hold them back, they either don’t think they are worthy to succeed, so they sabotage their business without even knowing it. Or they are just simply lazy and don’t want to learn. And there are those who work VERY hard, but still struggle because no one has taught them what to do. So I say all of this to encourage you to take some time and examine yourself and what your goals and plans are and what it’s going to take to get there.
