So where do I go from here? I'm overwhelmed, again...
Hello Friends!
We've been bombarded with Social Sites, Traffic Exchanges, and what's new and exciting in this Brave New World. It's like a kid in the candy shop, and can be quite overwhelming if you let it get to you. I have to remind myself and my comrade's to take it easy, learn something new, learn it well, then go on to the next lesson!
Many get tangled up experimenting with 3 different things at once, and not able to do a good job on any of them. We wind up getting frustrated, the ideas are bookmarked for a later date, lost in the shuffle and maze of technology that flows across our desktop each day.
There's so much value and creativity out there in the ether's, if we can learn to use it properly by focusing on one or two stratagies that we really enjoy, and getting very good at doing them before learning something else.
Scheduling your day is key, you can spend the odd hours, early morning or late evening, when the kids are in bed and its quiet and easy to work without constant interruptions distracting you. Use the prime hours of your day in productive time, doing the things that will add value and income, and be disciplined about using the most valuable thing we have, our time, to your full potential.

OVERWHELMED?
Can we translate that to supercalifragilisticexpealadocious overwhelmed!! My first exposure 8-2008 to internet marketing was a system that gave you 22 channels of income. I didn't have a clue about auto responders, domain names, hosting, and on and on. Not one penny or one recruit since starting and I believe it's because I haven't learned to do one thing well.
I still have a full time job and a full time husband. I work on the computer all day at work then I come home to try to catch up with all of the sites I have to check, build relationships, make sure money is in my account for any fees, etc., etc. etc.
I have shut down many ventures with charges and am looking for something I will enjoy or believe in. I want to offer a tangible product. Just building lists and teams with nothing to offer may be great for some but I'm not feeling it.
THANKS for letting me know I'm on the right track. Now, I have to get the scheduling down.
Latricia
So True.
This happened to me. I was trying to be a jack of all and you know where that leads...master of none. I find that when I organize my day and write down my goals for the next day, I accomplish more. As a matter of fact, I was reading something the other day about how millionaires plan decade to decade whereas other people tend to only make short-term plans. That reminded me that my work is not done yet.
Hang in there, Latricia.
I remember that overwhelmed feeling...
It wasn't too long ago actually. Trying to do too many things at one time. It DOES NOT Work. You have to get good at one thing at a time. Another thing that helps, is having a system set up that does a lot of the work for you. I just got my system up and running and believe me, it helps tremendously.
Same here!
Years of spinning my wheels, treading water, running inplace! LOL! I can laugh about it now.
You need a system. One you enjoy and that works for you when you're not working.
Good Luck!
Too Many Distractions.......
I try to plan my time so that I am working when I have the most energy usually in the morning. At night, I work on my advertising and answering email. I find that I allow too many distractions to interrupt me and then have difficulty getting refocused. I can also agree that I was allowing myself to go off in different directions and trying to do too much. I am now applying everything I have learned to my primary business. Oh, excuse me I think I just heard the dryer stop........
