I need help, rescue me!

I have been here two days and getting my self familar, since this is my first time with this new technology, I am haveing difficulty navigating.
Most everything is in black and white, but I am seeing in gray. Like for instance I came upon a page last night that lists everyone in order of companies, I cannot find that page today.
I also go to contact a person and cannot figure out if they are listening or not. Can I get help from someone.

I am a Grandmother in need.
