I just signed up for Twitter a few days ago.  Thanks for the information.  I guess it works a little bit like this site.  You stay on top of the latest discussions.  If you find someone that you have something in common with, send them a private message and get a relationship started.  I have also started reading profiles.  This is a wonderful tool for making new friends and who knows, possibly some new business connections????????
