For me, it's the worry of outliving my money in retirement, of being a burden to my children. That's a huge worry for so many baby boomers at this time in their lives.
For others, it might be the impending mortgage payment, the utility bills that aren't paid, or knowing that next year your son or daughter is heading off to college and you don't know how you'll come up with the money.
These are the things that keep people awake at night; these are the worries that most concern them right now.
So why am I mentioning this?
Because it is these exact things that you need to uncover and expose in your prospects. It's what they truly care about.
- They don't care that your product line is rated #1 in such-and-such magazine.
- They don't care that your compensation plan is the best around (in your opinion).
- They don't even care that you've just receieved 7 commission checks in the past 24 hours.
They don't care about you, your company or your products.... unless they believe you can help them get some sleep at night.
YOU have to become that person.
When you do, the rest is easy. It's the difference between a few sales a month and a few sales a DAY.
When you take the spotlight off you and your company and place it squarely on your prospect... and uncover these deep seeded fears, then you have something to work with....
But too many Network Marketers start with the product, the comp plan and the infinity bonuses. These mean NOTHING to your prospect if they don't believe that you can help.
And you can start that process by understanding what's keeping them up at night.
When you get this, everything changes.
