How to do a email campaign

Email campaigns,I am sure you have heard of them if you have done any type of online marketing.
Here is my experience and what I know about it.
You want to do them if you have any type of business and you want customers.
There are different ways though here is what I do,and am sure there are many more.
Signup for as many double opt in lists that you can,just do a search on google you can find them.
And use them! Many are free and valuable and I know I have gotten customers with them.
Build a list: if you have a website definately put area on there where people can signup for a newsletter and of course
your current customer base,and keep growing it and use it. Keep in touch with them and upsell if you can or give helpful information.

On one of my sites I offer blasters as they call them,you can email a few million people spam free due to they are double opt in.
What is double opt in? Double opt in is when they signup for offer or information on a subject,then they are sent a message making them
confirm they are ok to receive offers from different places. This is very important as you dont want to spam anybody..this is a form of
permission marketing,you have their permission to send offers,etc.

I would be weary of any place that says they have grown a customer base and you can buy into it or buy it. I dont know why
anyone would sell their customer base that they have built for a few years...doesnt make sense to me,and isnt right.

Use autoresponders...these you can create several ads and have them periodically sent to your list...very valuable also.

Main thing is dont spam and these are ways you can do this. Many people only advertise on double opt in lists,I know I dont
do this only as I feel you have to use a variety of methods of advertising,and email campaigns is one of them.
