Hi there my name is Steven Desantis and I wanted to comment on some of the home based businesses out there and which one to get involved with. I started my home based business with a company called Carbon Copy Pro.

Now being a newbie in this business, I realized one major thing that carbon copy pro has a much greater compensation plan than most of these home based businesses out there. This is much more attracting to go after but what really sold me was the fact that they affiliated themselves with WMI.

 A financial education company whose sole purpose is to help people get out of debt and grow their money. The industry doesn't teach you how to handle or grow your money. This to me was the indicating factor that I knew I had found the right business.

I don't mean to knock any other company out there, I respect all ways of making income. This one made the most sense to me.

GeneWize's Compensation Plan

Michelle Behney from dnafaith.com is convinced that GeneWize has the best comp plan. In fact I am so confident that I have uploaded a copy for you to view.

You did not list a comp plan, you simply stated you felt yours was the best.

Here is the NEW part of the compensation plan for GeneWize

Compensation Plan and Active Affiliate Status

1. To help make it easier for qualified Affiliates to earn Sales Team Bonuses, we have reduced

the (Pursuit Team) Sales Team Bonus volume requirement (BV) by 50%, from 500BV down to

only 250BV for any pay period. This reduced Bonus Volume requirement makes it much easier

for qualified Affiliates to earn both bimonthly Sales Team Bonuses and Matching Bonuses within

their organizations. This change is effective immediately.

2. We have modified the Binary tree programming from “Automated Volume Flushing” to

“Volume Expiration linked to Active Affiliate Status. (Begins with the December 30, pay period)

As a reminder, an Affiliate must be “Active” in order to receive Sales Team and Matching

Bonuses. There are four ways for an Affiliate to remain “Active.”

(a) In the previous 31 days before any pay period, the Affiliate has 150 monthly PBV

(Personal Bonus Volume). For example: If an Affiliate has two personally enrolled “non

Affiliate” customers who are successfully receiving Autoship in the previous 31 days (2 X

75 PBV = 150BV), then the Affiliate has met this requirement and is “Active.” Or,

(b) In the previous 31 days before any pay period, the Affiliate has 75 PBV (Personal Bonus

Volume) “personal Autoship.” This simply means the Affiliate is receiving their personal

LifeMap Product on Autoship. Important Note: Even if an Affiliate is entitled to free

product under the “Enroll Four Program” the Affiliate must still have a valid credit card in

place to pay their monthly shipping and handling charge (currently $9.75/month). Or,

(c) In the previous 90 days, the Affiliate has personally purchased an “Affiliate package that

contains an “Autoship product.” Or,

(d) In the previous 90 days, the Affiliate has personally enrolled a Customer with a

Customer package that contains an “Autoship product.”

Additionally, an Affiliate must be in “good standing” and have paid their Annual Renewal fee (if

applicable). See Annual Renewal Fee details to follow.

“Inactive Affiliates” are still eligible to receive Direct Commissions but are not eligible to receive

Sales Team or Matching Bonuses (or until they return to “Active” status) and any banked Bonus

Volume will be expire per the rules described in 2. a-d. If the Affiliate does not become “Active”

within as described above, then any of the inactive Affiliate’s banked Bonus Volume expires.

A very simple way to communicate (and understand) this qualification is: Banked Bonus

Volume for any Affiliate that is “active,” does not expire.

This change is effective for the pay period that begins December 30

th 2008 and thereafter.

Important note: Any “non Affiliate “Customer, that also enrolls Customers, will count towards an

Affiliate’s Customer requirements. Example: If an Affiliate enrolls a Customer who enrolls three

(3) Customers, that would counts as four (4) Customers towards the Affiliate’s Customer

Acquisition requirements.

This change is effective with the pay period that begins January 27, 2009 and thereafter.

Clarification To Affiliate Policies and Procedures: Affiliate Membership and Annual

Renewal Fee.

GeneWize is reducing the Annual Renewal fee from $59 to $49! However, rather than one

yearly annual collection for all Affiliates, GeneWize will collect Annual Renewal Fees for certain

Affiliates in early January 2009 and other Affiliates in early July 2009. The timing is based on

when an Affiliate enrolled in 2008

Here’s how Affiliate Annual Renewal Fees will be implemented:

For Affiliates that enrolled in 2008, and to help get the Affiliate renewal program on track, here’s

how it will be implemented:

Renewal fee of $49

Affiliates who enrolled on or before August 31, 2008, will be charged the reduced Annualin January 2009, and then each year in January thereafter.

the Annual Renewal Fee. If, as an Affiliate, you did not intend to renew and desire to cancel

your Affiliate-ship, you must email Customer Service at renewals@mygenewize.com within 30

days to cancel and receive a full refund of your renewal fee.

Beginning in 2009 and thereafter, all NEW Affiliates that enroll between July 1 and

INITIAL COMPENSATION

We want to encourage and suggest ALL Affiliates describe this as the "Keep Four and Pay no

More” program going forward.

Remember: Each time you enroll a NEW Affiliate or Customer you earn a Direct Commission of

$40-100 on each enrollment. That is your initial compensation not a discount on your product.

We can’t give you both in the same month!

The Free/Discounted Product program is designed to apply your credit ONLY AFTER your

Customer or Affiliate’s 2

nd order has been successfully charged and completed.

REOCCURRING COMPENSATION

You're reoccurring compensation comes in the form of a discount on your LifeMap Product, the

month AFTER your personally enrolled Affliates/Customes order(s) are successfully charged

and paid for. Not in the same month. Very simply, our computer program needs to “look back” at

the transactions in order to provide an accurate accounting and apply the appropriate discounts.

The first One to Four Affiliates (or Customers) you enroll entitles you to a discount on your

LifeMap product (10%, 25%, 50, 100% respectively). An example is if you enrolled 4 NEW

customers on December 1 of 2008 and they received their First Orders on January 1 of 2009

and they are on Autoship to receive their 2nd shipment on February 1st 2009, your discount or

FREE product credit would be applied in March. Don’t forget that you will also be charged for

shipping and handling (currently $9.75) IMPORTANT: If you don't have a valid credit card on file

to cover shipping,

3 of your Affiliate or Customer credit cards successfully processed, you would receive a 50%

discount.

After enrollment Number 4, you will earn a Direct Commission of $15.00 for each

Customer/Affiliate. For example, if you enrolled 10 Affiliates four of them (providing their

transaction process successfully) would entitle you to FREE product and the next six would earn

you $90.00 in Direct Commissions (6 X $15.00).

Hopefully this explanation helps you better understand (and explain) the program. Please refer

to the Compensation Plan and carefully review the Affiliate Policies & Procedures, which are

available in your Affiliate Back Office for more details.
