How to Super Size your Downline Building Strategies.
The term downline building may sound weird to some people, but it's part of the Network marketing Bible for networkers. What is it exactly? In plain english, it's the people you recruit, the people they recruit, and the people your recruiters recruited recruited and, well you get the point. In any Network Marketing business, this is where you make the big bucks. Think about it, aside from earning commission from every sale they make, your make off the referrals as well.
The way it most typically works is this: You recruit someone/some people. Lets say you get 3 people. If each of them recruit 3 people each, you have 12 people in your downline. If the 9 people in your second degree downline get 2 people each, you have a total of 30 people already. Now 30 times what you get from the referrals plus if they each have 2 sales each of your product, times that commission by 60. Wow! Sounds great, doesn't it?
Well nothing is that easy. You need to work at getting your downline to be super. Most people will just do things online, recruit people through their website, send out emails, work on SEO and all that web jazz, but that's not the only way. There's always offline networking.
This really depends on who you are. If you're one of those people with God-given PR skills, then offline can do so much better for you than online could. Simple things like face to face presentations and meetings, giving out cards with your web details, asking people in person to subscribe to your email newsletter is a possibility. Just cause you're talking to them in the flesh doesn't mean you can ask them to join you online. Putting an ad in the paper, sending out post cards, the ways are endless. Just add some creativity to your networking style and ta-da! Your have a long list of people in your downline.
Different techniques work for different people, so don't just follow whatever you may be reading or what people are telling you. Find what suits you. If you're a stay-at-home-and-sit-in-front-of-the-computer-all-day kind of guy, then do things strictly online. If you have a billion friends and you know everyone in the neighborhood then do things offline. Or mix it up a bit, just spend some time in determining what will really work for you.
When you have a good downline working for you, remember to always tech them your ropes, because the more people they get, the more you earn. So raise your downline right and the rewards will be great.
