At 6 am pacific time today, February 27, the chat to text feature became available for anyone using Myspace, Facebook and Bebo (more to come). It allows friends and potential customers/clients to contact you right from your profile page by clicking a button. Here is now it works...your friend or potential client clicks the button. They enter their name and intiate chat...you get a text message on your cell phone that you can reply to! Your reply shows up in a chat window on your friends computer and you can go back and forth. This is the first time TWO way communication from computer social network page to cell has been created. AND you can actually earn some money too if you want by sharing with your friends about the service. You can turn it on and off at will and set a schedule if you'd like so you are not getting texts at 3 am. I see it as a perfect fit for what we do with Waiora in that we can interact with a prospect right when they are on our website, social networking page, email, etc. You can page the links anywhere HTML is accepted.
