Selling v.s. Building Relationships


So boils down to this.... I've notice that newbies always sell the company..... I don't know why but it's always been like that..... I know that they're excited about the company and how it's great time to join.. My juice has x amount of calories and b12 and you gotta join right now...... Personally, i know people don't care about your mlm as much as you do. So you have to bring people down to a personal level... Remember this, people don't join businesses, or companys, they join you...... There's no way that selling the company works...... (it works for some networkers).... If you're selling the company and you're having success and you're trully a company man or woman then more power to you.... You and i Know that you can't duplicate what you just did........ This is why our industry has a bad name because people sell the company and gett the new reps excited v.s. to building a relationship..... People want to make more money...... I understand that, you and i know that people want more out of life besides a 9-5....... people are sick and tired of being sick and tired.....I'm looking for a company to go on board with... I have a few in mind but I'm taking a slow approach... I'm looking for someone to build a relationship with me over the phone and gett know me for me instead of explaining what there company can do for me.... Why am I that way, I'm just like everyone else...... I join people...... not a business..... I've been sold before and things didn't work out, and i felt ripped off..... I'm speaking for the crowd that didn't make in mlm remember 95-97% of us flucked or failed in this industry.. I'm one of the statistics..... So don't sell....... don't tell... Build relationships.... They go along way... Love people use money....... you know if you build relationships and  people do join you, say that the company goes belly up........  they'll stick with you for life, because you build a relationship with them... you didn't sell them in and made it strictly business..... so if you, the leader decides to go on with another company then the people you build a relationship with are right there with you...... Also, Brand yourself....... it works...... tell your story... This is an economy of people that gett inspired.....  people believe in people who tell there stories behind what they have.... Rather if it's success or failure and they finally gott the clue... Also you want to make sure you have a proven system.....(Blueprint) from the people that's been in mlm, to the newbies...... it's great to see a system work and success can happen to anyone that joins......so teach new people to build a relationship with prospects and things will go along way... Another thing, while building a relationship.. Give some products away.... if you have products you're retailing.. Give them away... there's nothing like have no price tag on things and letting your prospects taste or sample what you have.... while building a relationship...... that way the person you talking to feels comfortable and more open to what you have v.s. to just yapping your gums about how great the company is and how excited you are about your future.... No one cares...... We are putt in this industry to solve other peoples problems.. The blunt truth....... If you gett to talking about what you want out of your company, then you basically just told you prospect that you want there money and that they are just a number...... "Ryndal, what do you know about how to recruit you haven't done it yourself.??just a messenger. I tell it like i see it...... I took a step back out of mlm and observed what i was doing wrong in each company i joined..... I could of sworn up and down that it was the company and figuring out it was me, and i what i did wrong... It hurts and I don't want that same feeling of what you could've of done and what you should of done and the money that was wasted....... Another thing guys.........If more money is going out more then coming in, you're not talking to enough people........ Why, I don't know that's more of personal thing....lol....

so let's sum up everything i covered......

1. Don't sell the company..... Sell you..... and what you can offer

2. people join you not the business....

3. Give away free product... What you give away is what you gett to keep....

4. Don't tell people about your goals..... on money..... you just blew your chance on sponsoring your prospect....

You are right on man. I feel the same way. The relationship will always be more important and valuable than the sign up. This is a people business and we have to treat people like people not cattle.
