Giving Thanks! What compares to the love of a child?

My best part of the day is when me and my 5 year old Brooke go to her Pre School class in the mornings.  When I walk into the class, my little angels will come flock, 1 by 1 or sometimes in crowds and they Will be getting their hugs and words of praise and love from Mrs. Jenny.

There is just nothing like it!  I adore them.  Cherish The Moment Wood Sign

So the other day I recieved a Thank You card from the Director of the Program.  She sent kind words of gratitude for being there and spending time with my angels.  She went on to tell me that the kids "Just Love Me".  As I sat quietly taking in what I had read, I couldn't help but tear up and in my mind I thought, I should be sending the class a Thank You card.  I am the one who is flooded with  affection and the sweet tenderness of the children.  Everyday is truly Thanksgiving!  Lets celebrate every moment we are given, how precious and cherished they are!

That is so Sweet

Jenny,

That is so sweet.  I remember when my daughter was three and I used to work part-time in the afternoons at the State Capitol in Austin, Tx.  I would get her all ready and take her to the daycare around lunch time and I would get to see all the little girls and boys playing and having so much fun with "Ms. Janine and Ms. Shirley."

They used to love it when my daughter arrived because they said that she was always so nice and clean and smelled good when she arrived!  I guess she was a breathe of fresh air after all of  the church daycare kids had been there for a while running around, playing, eating, getting into things!

I can still see myself picking my daughter up from daycare knowing that she had been taken care of so well by Ms. Janine and Ms. Shirley.  It really gives you peace of mind when you know they are in good hands.

Thank you for being there for those children and thank you to all of the mom's who give of their time to take care of children so that the parents can go to work to provide for their families.

The kids

Jenny!

The wonderful thing about our kids is that fact that anything can happen at anytime. A simple smile or comment our kids make to us can totally make our day.

They are the creation of God, God-given to us to help us as mom and dads, expand in our daily lives also.

They are a manifestation of true love.

Blessings,

Dan S.

Oh, how sweet and I share your tears

Happy Belated Thanksgiving girlfriend.  You hit the nail on the head.  I was absolutely the happiest when my kids were little.  Nothing like the hugs of children and watching them grow.  And then they grow up and you wonder sometimes, where did I go wrong?  And then, when you least expect it, they do something or say something that tells you they really were listening and paying attention and taking your advice.

Raising children is the biggest challenge life can offer........networking is a close second.  However, if you think about networking the same way you think about raising kids, it can only be fun and very rewarding.  Hugs come from everywhere.

Nurturing children is a daily opportunity.  Networking is no different.  Unfortunately, life does get in the way sometimes and time gets away.  I am so guilty.  And I need to fix that.  You wouldn't let your kids starve for a day, now would you?  So why would you let your networking family starve?

Yes, I need to practice what I preach.  Procrastination is no excuse....it is a disease.  I know there is a cure and I am kicking my own rear end.   Ouch.......not so hard.............darn pointed shoes.......okay, okay, I promise to do better....Happy leftovers............I gotta go exercise.   And thank you for being a great and forgiving friend.  You are appreciated.
