Imagination Of A Child Takes My Breath Away...
I live in the beautiful state of Minnesota where the season tends to bring alot of sparkle this time of year! That is the way I see it, like shaved diamonds glistening everywhere. Its Amazing when I think about it and really see the beauty for what its worth, a taste of heaven...Takes my breath away!
My 5 yr old daughter has her own unique explanation of what she sees in the refreshing snowflakes. The other day she asked me to come out and play with her. We got into our warm clothes and headed out. She had one thing and one thing only on her mind. "It is time to make snow angels' mommy," she said. I looked at her and smiled. The ground had only a couple of inches of snow so I knew it would be more like dirt angels but it was okay, we were washable so it was All good. We went on to create our whole family of four in the back yard. It was great.
She went on to tell me a story about snowflakes. She said, "Mama, you know what snowflakes are?" I told her about snow and what I knew. She corrected me and said "no mommy, snowflakes are little angels, teeny tiny angels that are sent down from heaven!"
Talk about take my breath away. There are no restrictions or limits when it comes to a precious child. It’s beautiful! Seems like the best times in my life have been those times that the child in us comes alive and active...

Beautiful story dear...
Kids have so much inner wisdom and creativity, and its our job not to stifle that as they grow. Enjoy each and every precious moment!
In Northern California
where it rarely snows, my grandson got his first glimpse of snow one winter's morning. They got up and went downstairs to the kitchen for breakfast. The little guy was almost two, talking up a storm on limited subjects and running more than he walked. He ran to the window, looked outside and said, "Uh-oh, big mess outside. Spilled milk all over!" Seeing his daddy approaching, he quickly added, "Not me!"
Of course they went out and played in it. So he learned about snow the right way.
It's wonderful how kids let us know exactly where they are at any given moment. Too bad we have to lose that ability as adults to get along.
Thanks for your heartwarming story!
