Believe, Nothing will be impossible for you! The more your eyes will be inclined to see beyond the obvious with expectation, the more you will claim all that is yours. Choose to notice the the prints of the invisible hands. Nothing will enhance abundant life more than beginning our day expecting it! The more we believe the more we can expect to receive and experience all the desires of our heart.
For most of us, we have to learn how to believe first! Can anyone relate? Some have been saturated in negativity all of their lives and that makes it "all new" when it comes to receiving the truth. The promises that we can achieve and receive ALL things, through Christ who strengthens me. Are there any limits in that promise? Wow, just the thought of that rocks my world!
We need to fuel our belief system with the truth. It is essential to our life to constantly meditate on the desires of our heart and ingrain them in our belief system so that it becomes a part of who we are. Deeply ingrained! We need to be on guard of our thoughts at all times. Negative thinking is usually a lie, so if we can recognize that immediately we can change our focus on the truth!
If we see the leech coming to suck the life out of us, run and run fast! If you find yourself around a negative just tell them to go out to the car, lift the hood and bite on that positive terminal because you aren't letting them suck it out of you, end of story! Surround yourself with positive, like-minded people! We are the average of the 5 people we surround ourselves with the most. What we need to ask ourselves is are these people bringing fruit to our life, if not it’s probably best to move on.
Your purpose and plan is too precious and treasured to risk letting anything get in the way or even waste one moment in pursuit for that matter.

Meditate on the desires of our heart

You are so right that we need to do this. Since you wrote from a Biblical perspective, I'll just add that it is God who puts those desires into our hearts. Meditating on the desires of our hearts is one way to start hearing God's voice daily. Of course, I don't mean the desire for things like a big screen TV or the latest toys; but the desire to provide well for our families and to live a fulfilled life. Now, if the big screen TV happens along as we're doing that and it has value to you, go for it. But, focusing on the desires of your heart and working them into reality with the right attitude, that's really where it's at.
