You Must Overcome Phone Fear
you do not have a problem with calling prospects, than hurray! You are fine. But I gurantee that there will be members in your downline that will have this fear. It is often difficult for networkmarketers to do in the beginning.
But if you want to achieve ultimate success in your mlm business, you must overcome it sooner than later.
You must over come PHONE FEAR. Yuu have no choice. Even if you are doing your business online fulltime, there will be times, you have use the phone.
When I first started in the industry, the phone felt like a brick. You know the feeling? It seem like all the weight just was in that one hand holding the phone. I use to hope that an answering machine would come on. Yeah. I was so afraid and also many members of my team.
The first time someone said no, it was not a good feeling because automatic assume it's something you did or said. But the truth, it was never you along,. We are just dealing with people who are not ready . They do not want to take a risk at what you are telling them. There was one time, I had 17 no's in a row!
When I look back on all of it, I realize that I did not have the confidence & the posture.I was not doing anything to educate myself about the business. I would listen to conference calls here and there. Once I started saturating myself with the company's information, mlm books, empowerment seminars, etc, As I gain more knowledge, I gain more confidence & my aproach was easier when I met people and it transferred to the phone.
Hearing the words no, meant I could move on and not waste my time with slackers. I learned that it's O.K to hear no. It did not kill me. I just kept going.
I had an upline tell me, he missed a million dollar call. A million dollar call? Well, there was someone he put off calling about his business opportunity. He had put it off because he was scared. He was ot sure what this person would think. Well, when he finally made the call, the gentleman had join his company under someone else and became the top leader in the company. My upline tells this story all the time.
We must overcome phone fear. Load yourself with powerful knowledge and act on it. Your upline should be helping you with this. You see, knowledge builds your belief system. Do not let anyone fool you,it truly does.
When I recruit someone, I always do field training & live calls with them. No one that I personally recruited can never say, they did not receive help from me, period.
Work on your confidence & posture . If you are an upline, you should be doing live calls with them until they are comfortable. Once you feel they are getting comfortable, start to wean them off. Help them with empowerment tools, training , etc. It's a win win situation when you do.
So begin to overcome the telephone fear & start dialing your way to millions.

You are so right that the phone fear is a consuming fear many times for networkers, especially new people in the business. I think it is the fear of rejection that runs people out of this business. I had a mentor one time to tell me I needed to welcome getting told "no". He told me that he was happy when he was told "no" by someone because "that means I am one no closer to a yes. Might as well go ahead and get the no's out of the way so I can get to a yes faster".
