The Importance of a Mission Statement
Speaking with several clients I've come to realize that many people don't have a mission statement. My husband goes as far as to have a personal mission statement but it is just as, if not more than, important to have a business mission statement. Without it your business will have no life. Even if you are with an MLM that has a fabulous mission statement, as a business builder you still need your own. It is part of your planning process. Remember that old cliche..."if you fail to plan then you plan to fail" I don't remember who said that. Check out http://marketingtakeover101.blogspot.com for more information about the title above under the same name. I hope you will take away some valuable nuggets.

Hi Sherri
Hey Sherri, Where have you been, Just kidding my bad!! We have been so busy, a most excellent thing!! Your post is right on target!! as should the Mission statement be. I agree with you and your husband. One should have 2 mission statements. One should be a personal Affirmation that you r write, and read everyday of your life!! A sort of keep you on track, goal oriented, self identifier. In business the Mission statement is as important as the title you chose for you business. MArkewting 101 states, Your business title should let people know Imediately what you do. and your Mission statement should cement the benefits of what you do, in the client's/ prospect's mind!!

Hello
Thank you Donna for commenting on this piece. I've seen the difference in businesses that had mission statements vs. those that did not. It's a huge difference in favor of the businesses with the mission statement. Wishing you the best!
