Average Nobody Becomes Overnight MLM Smash!
This title is a not so obvious lie.
The contents, a not so obvious "why"...
Average people with Average dreams
join Average people on Average teams.
The Average of one year to keep it alive,
Success rate percentage no greater than five.
Average warm markets that feel more like ice
The Average to sponsor, no greater than twice.
The Average Residual checks don't reflect
The Average hell you went through to collect.
The Average reality of firing the boss,
Gets muddled by thoughts of recouping the loss.
The Average post-card lead sent to Bob
Yields phone calls from Bobs who just need a job.
The Average upline with the average speak,
"Just do more" of the out-dated, Average technique.
Average web pages with long-legged links
the rate of conversion on Average just stinks.
Average Headlines aimed at wallets not hearts,
Hype levels exceeding the sum of their parts.
With Average focus on markets to tap
putting price tags on nothing but hand-polished crap.
Average Networkers more focused on greed,
than Enriching the lives of those they claim to lead.
By Steve Rodgers
I wrote this in response to a conversation I had (tried to avoid) this past weekend among a few folks I know. The person leading the conversation got under my skin when he stated how "Network Marketing is the best way for the 'Average' person to get ahead in life." That same person, of course was just regurgitating some Average crap, he heard on some tv show for Average chumps and had no personal experience in this industry what so ever .
Average people don't succeed in Network Marketing. They just don't. If they did we would all have to blame the failure rate in this industry on all of those "below average" people that join the business in droves on a daily basis.
What a load of crap.
Anyone who ever had any success in this industry did so by daring to be extraordinary.
I didn't join this industry because I was "Sick and tired of being sick and tired"...
I joined because I was sick and tired of being Average and uninspired.
This is dedicated to all of the great leaders and mentors in this industry for doing what Average people don't have the courage to do... attempting to Enrich the lives of others.
Feel free to send this poem to whomever you like, but please respect that it was in fact authored by myself. Keep on being extraordinary and thank you!

"any success in this
"any success in this industry did so by daring to be extraordinary."
-exactly, taking a step outside our comfort zone is what makes us progress
