Persistence! One of the Keys to Success!

After Forty years in exile Moses went to Pharaoh and cried "Let My People Go"

God called Moses out of his exile and sent him to the place of his worst failure. He had killed a man and was forced to go into hiding. But Moses obeyed God. How many times did He go before Pharaoh to ask for freedom for his people? I wonder would I have given up before Pharaoh gave in?

We all have heard the story of Lincoln’s failures. Lost his job, lost election, failed in business, sweetheart died, had a nervous breakdown, defeated for speaker, defeated for nomination to Congress, was elected and lost being nominated again to Congress, rejected for land officer, defeated for U.S. Senate, defeated for Vice President nomination, again defeated for U.S. Senate! What would you do at this point?

We know what Lincoln did. And we know what Moses did. We also must Persist!

Persistence always wins. It never quits! Persistence is the fire in your belly! Persistence is the strength in your backbone. It laughs at ridicule, scoffs at rejection, and turns reversal around!

Persistence does not look back at yesterday! Persistence does not play the blame game. It’s not my parent’s fault, my teacher’s fault, or my boss’s fault. Persistence is a flame that will not be extinguished!

Remember what is written in the greatest book in the world. "But he who endures to the end shall be saved" (Matt. 10:22).

Pull out all the stops because Persistence wins all rewards!
