Ministry Marketing Plan: Be Prepared

One of the basic foundations in any ministry marketing strategy is the condition of your heart. How is your relationship with God? Are you faithful with the "little" God has given you?

 You are striving and laying a marketing plan so you can have the resources to be free to serve Him. So you have to prepare now...in the midst of what you don't have...to be ready for when the plenty comes.

 For some, it might be a need for financial freedom. Others maybe needing a miracle healing.

 So for the moment, you stay faithful to the foundation: the rock from which you stand. Jesus is that rock!

 In Matthew 25:14-30, Jesus tells the parable of the man who gave each of his servants talents (money). The one was given five, went and traded (worked!) and made another five. The one with two did the same and reaped two more. The servant who was given one, walked in fear and doubt, and did nothing. He let his lack, doubt and fear paralyze his actions.

 We know what the master said to the servants who worked their talents: "Well, done good and faithful servant, you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your Lord."

 God can do much with the little you have. He can give you joy in the ministry marketing journey too.

 So being prepared in your ministry marketing plan to be free means to use the gifts God has given you to work, study and move forward in a direction of serving Him, all the while keeping your relationship with God alive.

 For some who are tackling a computer based business from home, they might need to study the skills of marketing or strategy on gaining traffic for their web sites. Others might have to learn new skills in communicating on the phone or talking to prospects. Personal development is an ongoing skill needed in any business venture!

 Maybe you are a mom working a home based business. You may need to learn skills of time management, or organization of your work area. Or, it's the opposite. You take all your time to be organized to keep you busy and you neglect doing the ONE THING that generates the income. (I've been there!) You can do it mom. One step at a time!

 But first, to be free to serve HIM, you have to KNOW HIM.

 So "work" on that relationship with Him. Dig in the Word. Spend time with God. Pray. Seek HIM on all things.

I can be in the midst of my quiet time early in the morning reading His Word when out of nowhere He gives me as strategy or gives me wisdom on some marketing idea! It is awesome.

So you maintain your relationship as part of being prepared. You stay faithful to what He has given you now. You work and develop skills that He has given you. Be generous, adventurous, kind, and surrendered to Him.

 You are being prepared for the destiny, that freedom to serve Him!
