Do You Notice One Thing?

When you first step into the world of MLM and Network Marketing, you see it as what you can have. Then you see a product, service, business. Then it gradually moves into a different arena in which it's about people. Then world out there. Then, as you grow, and I am speaking personally - it grows to something much bigger.

It becomes about YOU, and yes, sure, it's about how you invest in yourself, the value and who you really are. Yes, without a doubt it is about people, and we hear it all time:

"If people say no then no worries. They are not saying no to you."

And then you want to know what to say to people when they got questions. That's when you get

"It's about leadership and they need to know this and they need to know that, and they need to invest in this and.."

The Insight
As I grow, I realised, it got nothing to do with both of these at all. The more I listened, the more I grew to understand about myself, the journey. I began to see something clearer.

Sometimes, the wisdom, the insight dawns on us within the journey not within books. The books are just part of the stepping stones to the realisation to figure that "ah!"

Yes, I learnt a lot from the books. Yes, I benefited greately from the books but I learnt even more, when I did the work, saw inside myself and began to hear what people felt instead of what I wanted to hear.

That's when the books, knowledge really came alive and stood out of the page.

Yes, you grow to reply not to prove your a leader but to really to help the person. For example, someone may say:

"Yeah but I don't know if there is room for me to do this and that because so many are doing this.."

And suddenly, we're now going to speak about leadership, about value and...so on.

The Four Magic Words
All they wanted to know is this, "listen, I believe in you or I won't be sitting here talking to you about it, if I didn't."

Four magic words. Four powerful words. Four of the most powerful words I heard someone say to me years ago. No, not my upline. Heck not even the top guns but from my wife.

"I....believe..in...You"

That would kick anyone's butt on any talk they share with me about leadership, and parrables of wisdom, and the exploration of value, and what I must invest in...etc.

"I...Believe...In...You.."

Because when someone says.."But.."

It's really, "Can I Do This?"

If someone says.."You see, I don't see myself doing it because I feel.."

It's really, "Am I good enough."

If someone says, "But there's so many already and.."

It's really, "Tell me! That I CAN do this!"

But for someone reason, yes, for some reason, we appoint ourselves with a medal of, "I am a leader," instead of a "I'm a human being." Suddenly the mode kicks in and we want to explain what leadership is but leadership cannot be explained. It is lived and lives, breathes by example.

Humanity
And if that example does not radiate then from my experience, the heart does not reach towards what cannot even lead itself.

For what is leadership but towards a growth of a person that excels as a human being. That part we have forgotten due to the noise, programming and great speeches. That part in which we give value, that part in which it attracts people, like moth to light, without much effort. It becomes natural.

Natural. This word alone is a word I have always wanted to see in people I met. Natural, flowing without impressing, without thinking of what ones is offering or what one is getting. Natural is common sense because no matter what anyone says, people have been given and taking anyway, no matter if it is with their own kids, with their friends, within their jobs, in giving gifts, interviews, with everything they do in life.

And then they question it when something is giving to them.

Is it this though that gets people? Is it this that really messes some people's head to ask:

"What's wrong with people? First their excited and then their..."

Or, "they said this, so what should I say now to help him see.."

The truth is...it's got nothing to do with any of these. It is because we are not true to ourself, and that old kind of yearning of neediness, wantingess, approval, to hear:

"Yes. I want to be in this business with you."

The Chief
Far beyond the ocean, an Indian stood still. A chief watching the shores while his people walked away. He stood there, watching but he just couldn't understand what he was staring at. He kept on staring and still nothing. And yet, all that was around him, the waves, the sound, was telling him...

"Danger is coming! Danger!"

He still could not see, even hours of watching, until, his mind got used to what it was seeing, and there, yes, right there....he...saw...ships after ships, of men coming with guns in hand!

A mind that has not seen a ship before, will not see one, until it is given time to do so. Do you think you can convince someone of something, they cannot see in their mind? Until they are ready my friend and that is really up to them.

Which Is Best
For the past years that went by, with all the talk on what works, and what doesn't and this MLM and that MLM, and this system and that system - I come to the conclusion, it got nothing to do with either of these too. I know, strange mind, right? No, not strange. Truth.

You see, no matter what business many are in, I admire them. I admire their courage, their dream, their willingness to go for it, and the hope they bring. It really doesn't matter what MLM business they are in, which is ethical. They bring something which many forgot in life, called a dream. And in our country, to even be able to have that one chance to fight for your dream is the greatest gift they'll ever have.

Old School And New School
It was never about what so many want to say, "Old school," and "no, the best is this new school," and the "ah, but you see, this system," and "come on man, it's really this company."

It never is about, "who took from who, and who is the best, because the fact is, a student had a teacher, a teacher also had a teacher, and that other great teacher before had a teacher, and all of them had the same one!

And that ONE teacher is...the law..of success. And you will find some use that but the truth is, if you want a great teacher...study the laws of successs and it will point you in the right direction. It has a very good record. The best! It'll reveal who is applying it's laws.

It Comes Down To This
No matter of the waiting, no matter of the books, no matter of the great debates of our times, and the great dvds, cds, the seminars, to courses, to all we can have - the truth is, it has, and always will be about knowing who we are and conquering our self.

For sometime, I sat and wondered and realised something. That one must build their dream with a detachement of the following things:

The Neediness of recognition from others
The emotional attachement - in doing things, deciding without emotional, personal attachement.
The wantingness
Defensiveness
Fear

Do You Notice One Thing About The Above Points
Whether it is how you answer someone. It is about the self. Whether it is how to manage time. It is really managing the self. Whether it is how to not get distracted. It is about the self. Whether it is how to sponsor people. It is about the self. Whether it is which company, who, when, why...it is about the self.

Whether it is about PPC...the self. Whether it is about moving traffic....the self. Whether it is about how much money and how many people...it's about the self.

This business has taught me one thing. Something I really value a lot.

You can't hide in this business or any business.

This business, this industry, no matter what anyone says - has taught me more than I have ever learnt in any industry to date. It taught me...about myself.

Maybe, many are scared to see their true self.
