Desbon Bushiri has a history of courage, fled from war and poverty. It didn't take long for him to make big impact in UK. He got the Football scouts attention due to his football skills.

The media started to write about him consistently. Books been written about him. Talented in football but doing a lot of work in giving a lot of his time traveling around world, as a peace convoy.

The challenge is raising the cash for the sport centre for the orphan children in Africa and to provide them an education. A school where they can learn, grow and be enriched.

With all the things we see today, like mobile phones, laptops, computers, materials come from Africa.

But if you go to DR CONGO, you won't find mobile phones. You won't find laptops. Hardly any have them and yet, we have them here, in UK and USA and around the world.

That's what frustrated Desbon. The riches, the minerals all going out and nothing coming into his homeland. What can he do?

How You Inc Got The Attention Of United Nations Head Office
One day we met and he told me about his dream. I could sense he was serious. I asked him..

"How far and what price are you willing to pay?"
"Whatever it takes."

After five years, he was prepared for a large meeting where United Nations, UNICEF and other organisations will be there. Instead of him designing business cards, flyers and brochures, we applied the Magnetic Sponsor concept.

"Stuff lifting up some board and pitching. You're going in there with YOU INC."

We did some research and found out the questions they were going to ask him and other organisations at the Conference. As Magnetic Sponsoring taught, "find out what people need and give it to them."

We got the questions ready. Then just with one small Digital camera we began. I questioned, he answered the questions. We went through each question that hit at the emotional need of the top organisations who were coming from all over the world to this conference.

Everything was in house. Under budget.

Then it was an all nighter for some weeks.

Desbon didn't know the first thing about blogs. Never mind uploading a photo but he had to learn. We created a blogger blog UNTIL we get to the nerve centre. He banged his articles, videos of what he's done, media press coverage.

He flew to Austria and we were spot on. They had a large screen in the conference. So he followed the strategy:

"I'm not going to say anything today. I'm going to let this video do the talking for you."

He pressed play, the massive screen waiting, the intro music, animation and...

KABAM! It hit hard! He got the people's attention!

The video finished but he had another strategy up his sleeve. We knew that from calling way ahead and getting contacts of the engineers that they will have Internet connection. So he showed them the blog, with documents, that highlighted the organisations problems and the solutions, with results and newspaper press that wrote about the results.

Talk about testimonials. Hahaha.

They were able to see his blog and go through his blog posts, photographs and videos. It created a buzz.

The moment the video finished, he told me he was rushed off his feet with people giving him their business cards. From directors to head office of organisations.

Why?

It was planned. The strategy was for Desbon not to pitch but provide value! The reason why - that everyone there is not going to be prepared. They won't have a blog. They won't have the video. They'll be pitching how great their organisation is.

But if he goes there and GIVE, reveal his expertise by answering questions, and reveal the videos, the many newspaper clippings of th results, the videos, the stats and show solution - you now stepped out of the screaming crowd of..

"Look at me!"

He was applying what he read in Magnetic Sponsoring in the big world wide.

The moment the video finished, he had them all eating from his hands. They wanted more. They were willing to give funding. The lot. They gave contact details, emails, numbers and even send email of the vision of his organisation.

I recieve text message, "It went exactly as we planned but bigger!"
My reply, "You're going to change the world. You did it! Plan B when you come back."

So now, he's back and the first thing he said..

"It works. This Attraction Marketing thing is cool isn't it?"

We started working on plan B.

He took my advise and decided it was time to create his own nerve centre than having a blogger.

In process, we sat down once to twice a week to look at his marketing, what solutions his targeted prospects need to create a funded proposal. Hook the prospects in and build his list first.

There's still some work as you can see on the left.

But from day one, market research was done and testing before this nerve centre was getting built.

That's when he recieves an email from the Head Office of United Nations. The buzz is still going round about what he did at the conference. Now you know why I'm busy with creating nerve centres for organisations and sport academys.

His nerve centre is being built from ground up. His face. His name. His simple tagline which I created to say..

"This is who it's for and this is what we do. This is where we're going and here's what we're selling." Right upfront but with an added free ebook.

From the research, marketing strategy, designing, it was a lot of work especially when I wasn't using wordpress. Yeah, wordpress, it's freaking awesome but...I like to create and own the creation and give it to business owners like Desbon. Sure, he pays for it but that's business and relationships.

After much talk on phone and meeting, we created a strategy.

To go and talk to fellow experts in the Football arena - fooball coaches, top physcians etc, to create his products that his targeted prospects needs. Turning his value (knowledge + Skill + contacts) into information products.

Interviewing them, filming them and provide valuable content and future backend products and membership site.

The man is now excited because he's seen the potential. He can literally see now, his sport centre for children in Africa will be built and not to rely on funding. I've advised him, not to follow the route of charity organisations and community organisations chase funding from government.

Creating His Own Information Front End and Back End Products
Rather, stand out, create his own products, then get the results this way and then turn all this to also become a system to teach the organisations how to generate cash too. They are now meeting Desbon face to face because he's already in the arena, already built relationship before and knows the needs of the organisations.

This is just one customer out of many. It's really been a fun two years. It's great to help people who....have a DESIRE and willing to learn and apply. It truly is a great way of doing business. By being firm with our own values and mentor only those who are willing to listen, be coachable and apply the actions.

Finally! The Response He Needed Came Through:
"We're entering you and your blog, into our competition and the winners will be recieved thousands of dollars to help their cause."

At last, the doors opened. What did it take?

A video. A Blog. His skills and lead with his expertise in giving free knowledge that would have costed them thousands if they hired a consultant. Another newspapers contacts Desbon and again, the interviews from press happens.

You INC and using the concept within Magnetic Sponsoring and creativity, opened the flood gates. It is only the beginning. Imagine what youc an do. Imagine it's not the world you want to change, a millions of orphan children and a school and sport centre that will cost $5million to build.

Maybe it's just a few hundred dollars. Maybe it's just to pay a mortgage. Maybe it's to say to the boss, "thanks mate, but I'm moving on."

Whatever it is, if Desbon could do it with a camera, his skills and expertise, and fly over and bang it on a massive screen, then imagine the Internet and it's massive screens. The possibilities are endless.

How bad you want it? Bad enough to get started?

"Where Do the Leads Like Desbon Come from?"

1. You share tutorials, content online. Give man, give!
2. Prospects emails. They scout more about you.
3. Then it leads to talking on skype and email, asking questions, giving knowledge.
4. Deal closed and they are customers.

I got recording of all the process. Will release these in future. Yes, I got permission from all prospects.

The first initial email and phone is the most important because that's where the prospects knows, if you're confident, you know what you're talking about. It's also where I ask questions not other way round. The final "tell them what to do next" is a big one too. Don't be afraid to tell your prospect what to do next.

Be confident. They want help but they want someone who is also sure of themselves and isn't afraid to lead them.

When the prospects contacts you, they usually need help with the following:

  • "I've been trying to generate leads and using facebook but....
  • I've got all the courses but I still don't know how to sell my mlm products and how it all fit together with internet marketing
  • I've got no blog, no website, and seen your tutorials, and would like one.
  • I'm confused and don't know where to start.
  • Need mentorship <<< this one is happening a lot lately.

I've known Desbon for some years now and though I know him very well, I didn't call. Instead he found my blog, opted in and later called. He's in one of my teams in MLM.

But I've never approached by calling but rather, they find out anyway due to being on my list. I directed them to my video tutorials, articles.

It took sometime for mentoring but he got the idea. He also went and got Magnetic Sponsoring too. Soon, he'll be getting Copywriting guild because he wants more knowledge. He's real hungry.Very sharp and visionary.

Building Relationship
There is something you need to know. When trust is built, your customer will go the extra mile. They NEVER question regarding them to invest in knowledge. Desbon says repeatedly:

"Tell me what to do next."

And I say what to do next. What books to get. What training to get and he gets them. That's the power of trust, of really cementing the relationship with prospects with truth. I found by saying exactly what it takes for prospects from day one - it makes my life a lot easier.

It took sometime building relationship. Some it takes faster. Others a bit slower BUT...this should not worry anyone of us if we have many a leads anyway. We can choose who to spend time with, who to mentor.
