How To Be Taken Seriously
Imagine, the whole community forum backing you up.
They can change everything. Even the policies of a forum and even award you with top free training and more.
All because you didn't spam the forum and gave value.
Can it happen?
It already has but first..
There are 7 types of people and we'll look at the first sixth first.
How To Be Taken Seriously In Community Business Forums
1. The Man With The Spam
The first type, goes to the forum and doesn't check the forum out first. They'll just go straight into it and create a thread in the MLM discussion section.
Then they'll write..
"Hello friends. My name is_____. You know, 97% of Network Marketers fail. What they need is a system, that does XYZ. If you check this out..
Links here to a sales page.
Then you'll see how you can just accelerate your business and help your team. You'll also need to be awesome with article writing so you'll need..
Links here to a sales page.
The page will have about three or four spam links. Some go even crazier. They'll have links all over the place. Anchor link here, there and everywhere.
It's like a rainbow of links just hit the forum.
It's spam because no one asked him to tell everyone on forum about his business opportunity or the amazing, Omega, marvelous products.
2. What's A Signature???
The second type has a photograph and poses like he's in a magazine or some film contest. He'd not do it in real life. Not a chance.
His mates down the pub will not let him live it down if he posed like that.
So this second one will come into the online forums and act all naive and uses the forum as a post for a long article.
Yes, a long article. He'll have a link to a product or capture page. Wait for it now...
He'll also put his telephone number there too.
Here's the thing - you kind of wonder, how can they teach about attraction marketing, social media...FORUM MARKETING... when he can't even create a signature link, and leave their telephone number, and link to their website there.
They talk about leverage! Then leverage the signature. You won't need to paste your number and blog link, time and time again.
I mean, you can't go off talking about Forum Marketing when you don't know the rules of a community and how to create a signature link.
So they got...
- The full home address
- The post code
- The telephone number
- and 4 website links
This dude will even come to the forum and paste some wisdom quote they got from a book or the web because they heard it's a wicked strategy. Yeah,
awesome strategy. Then paste their blog link and add..
For more, visit this website.
Then you get the rest who don't get it and say, "WOW, You are so right. What a quote and.." Please, get with the program. Don't encourage this because someone else will think..
"I need to find a quote from Zig and paste it and bang a link to my website."
But wait! It Gets Better...
We haven't met the third one.
They take the mick out of the other two. Lord, this one is definitely an ice breaker.
3. I'm a Guru With A Big Voodoo Video
Now, this takes the cookie. Wow! Man, when I saw that, I was like...
"I don't care if this strategy works, I'm no way going to partner my business with you. Get outta here!"
Is it a headline? Is it a bird? Is it...Oh wait...it's a...
No, no. It's not Superman hahaha. It's...
A Massive Youtube Video in the signature link. What the heck man!
Whatever you do, just don't do this one.
It's like saying..
"HELP! SOMEONE NOTICE ME PLEASE!"
The worse is you got some who does everything right and suddenly they so excited about their training they just did. A product, a training program, a mentorship stuff.
What you think they do.
Exactly!
They go to the forum, create a thread, and pitch on how people need to learn this and the problem have is that, and right at the bottom is a classy, top notch, clean, awesome video with testimony from other business.
Then it dissappears because no one is interested in a pitch. No matter who the person is. No matter how much one has given. No matter how many years or if all the leaders of the world said, "You are the don my friend. You're awesome."
It doesn't matter anymore.
You just ruined all that work. Start again pal.
4. She's A Lass With A Strategy (cough).
This one takes the cake. I have to congrat anyone who does this because you just said..
"I haven't got a clue about Copywriting. I'm so useless at writing headlines and content. Damn it! I have to get people to read this article!"
The fourth type, creates an article in the Article section of the forum. Then she buggers it up by going to the forum, creates a thread and uses the same headline of the article she wrote, and...
Pastes a paragraph from the article into the thread and tells everyone she's written an article and they NEED to check it out...
It's "AWESOME."
So awesome it hasn't been noticed.
It's the "I need to get my articles NOTICED because I am so useless at Copywriting..."
They spent maybe $48.97 on a copywriting book, 5 YEARS AGO.
It's the only one they got. They will not spend another dime nor have they practised their heart out on crafting their skills.
Behold the next one....
5. Hi Ho Silveeeeer...
You see them coming a mile off. They wonder why their Youtube channel, facebook, twitter has be locked, shut, clamped with nails on it.
Yes, this guy takes the mick out of all five. I call this dude, Hi Ho Silver because they think they are heroes. They got a great heart. Honestly, they do. They got great heart, awesome blog but there's just one problem.
Not everyone gives a damn about what they posted on their blog. They don't want to be saved from then ongoing myth and news about the 97% fail. Yeah, that is so in every industry mate. I see it in every industry not just Network Marketing.
So here he is, come to save the world from Luther and they have to save metropolis from ignorance. They'll tell the world that they are bringing value to the table.
So much value, that they need to create a thread in forum and...
"Hey, I've written a blog post about XYZ. Check out here guys.."
And pastes a link.
Then rides away into the sunset to do it to another blog somewhere else.
Hi Ho Siiiiiiiiiiiiillllllveeeeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrr.....
6. The Guru Basher
Once in a while, someone falls for this one. Do yourself a favour when you meet a Guru Basher. Run to the hills! Run as far as you can. Don't even bother fueling their debate.
The sixth is where he has got no idea what to write. No idea at all. Nothing. Nadda. They got books after books on the shelf. They maybe earning a few bucks, if that. Maybe sponsored 3 people in the last 4 years and they are not doing anything.
So they not busy with the business. Not busy, not learning because not everything can be taught. 95% learn and the biggie is 5%. That 5% makes a person stand out a mile off with awesome value.
Since they miss this part, there is only one alternative.
You guessed!
They open a thread, create a headline that bashes guru's.
Then write about how everyone is trying to be an expert and how dare they try to be one. And what is the world coming to.
You "money grabbing people. Yooooouuuu..."
Stir the forum into a frenzy for a bit. They'll ask everyone to try to convince them how much they make. Blah, blah, blah.
The leaders stare in amazement and remember how they started 15 years ago. Then cringe, shake their heads, because it reminds them of how they were too.
7. The Pioneer
This is...you
You stepped into the forum and first checked out what's happening. You see a pattern. People need help.
So you answer questions, you direct people to the right information on the forum. You also share your thoughts to spammers who need to know that this forum is moderated.
It's packed with savvy entrepreneurs.
Gradually you are getting much love and respect from the community.
There is a training vault and many are paying for it.
You don't for your own reasons but what happens is the community members of this vault don't see you on it. They've seen you contribute heavily.
So a revolution happens and people ask to have you get awarded due to the value you have given to the community. The community recieve a positive answers and...
It gets you free training worth thousand of dollars, learning from top earners.
Can it happen?
Check for yourself. It just did..
