The Journey to Developing An MLM Sales Funnel Marketing System - Part 1

It has been an amazing journey and I've enjoyed developing my own marketing system by going far away from the crowd who use wordpress.

Nothing wrong with wordpress by the way but I wanted to:

Develop my own sales funnel marketing system and own it. No monthly fees.
Create my own content management. Add videos, articles, audio, track it all.
I can customise in anyway I wish without restrictions and policies.
Become specialist who designed his own thing.

Yes, there are nice softwares out there, cheap ones too but here's what I found.

All of them are more like wordpress components that just helps you build a squeeze page, a sales letter, lead to payment check out.

That's all and fine but it's not a system for me. Hey, I love what these founders did but I have bigger problems to fry and I might as well go all the way.

The sales funnel marketing system I needed had to be the full package, where I got the Personal branding blog to focus on a any niche I desire. Whether that's skin care on Acne or Botox, or Vitamins and so forth.

The whole process of the sales funnel must be flexible for as many products I desire within that same blog.

The membership site within the blog to train my team and other MLM organisation to create their own marketing strategy for their sales funnel marketing.

And to even go further to refer them to other specialist I've mentored that do it for wordpress. And those who want the big one, with HTML lead generation websites, I'll do.

Also, I wanted my own content management within that website to be able to change, update, anything on it.

Finally, it must be automated.

Why automation?

Increases productivity.
Cuts costs.
Captures leads.
Filters tire kickers.
Educates and builds trust.
And sells.

Most of all, I can give then this system and they hook it up and onward!

I couldn't find this in any of the systems I saw all MLM organisations or programs many sell. It frustrated me buying them to see none had these.

These systems I saw were for beginners and people who wanted usual squeeze page, multiple squeeze page, sales letter etc.

Not for me because you put that with a corporate guy like me and I'm like...

'Erm, no thanks. I'm aiming bigger. I need for the darn thing!'

The Marketing Sales Funnel System Purpose is to:

Attract leads to first generate cash flow. A biggie for network marketers.
Attract leads to primary product of company I represent, while owning the list.
Attract new distributors.
Then train others to do the same.
Sell the marketing system.

Note something here which is very important. I'm going to be blunt.

It scared the heck of me doing this. It has become one of the biggest challenges I've ever faced in my life and has stretched me to devour books, programming skills, sales skills and books on marketing plans and strategy.

The problem I'm solving isn't easy but it's fuelled me to solve it due to past experiences in MLM.

Second - I find almost every network marketer is not focusing on attracting leads to the primary business opportunity and the products of the MLM company.

Can you believe that?!

Wasn't that the intention of using the Internet in the first place?

Anyway, I didn't want to just go and create a sales funnel, a system just like that. I needed a greater understanding of the sales process using just a few tools.

To get results first. Create the story and not 'fake it while I make it.' Results matter and it will enable for creating a strategy that works.

I wanted to break the record in sales with MLM products and any product. To teach others to do same. This was my goal and yes, it a big goal but life won't be exciting if I didn't have such a greater purpose.

I wanted to see what really worked with one or two tools to attract leads, qualify the prospect and lead to the sale. I felt not many were teaching the conversion of sales practically.

Every course I've been on didn't show this but showed how to attract leads. They didn't show practically how to convert prospect to customer.

My hunger was to learn, to understand and to stay focused in ensuring the purpose was to attract prospects and lead to the products from the primary business opportunity.

I documented the process of attracting prospects using simple tools like forum and skype. I recorded the conversation with the prospect, how I qualified, took control of the conversation and made the sales.

I also let them know that's what I was doing and they were fine with it. Then when I got the results, it gave me a true understanding of the sale and marketing process online to document it in this book of mine...

How was the objections handled?

Simply by asking the prospect questions and got the prospect to handle their own objections. I trained the prospect from the beginning of the contact on who was control of the conversation.

By the way, the product I sold was what I didn't know anything about. I just past the phone later to my wife.

We even directed the prospect to a competitors website for the person to learn more about what damages their skin and hair.

And the prospect came back with "wow" and bough samples first and then full products of over £150.00. That's after we past her to....the competitor's website.

The power of Trust and Relationship works.

This got me thinking of the strategy and if I can do the same in a completely different niche that is not even focused on my products.

So I tried it. The same process but with one difference. I got the community involved with creating an ebook.

When the book was completed, I just uploaded it on one of those book sites and it's now selling on Amazon. Each one bought the book.

I've documented the result and process in the following book which again, I've put away to sell in the future...

What I discovered through these steps are the following:

People do not buy because they LIKE you but because they TRUST you.
The prospect wants 'experience' and I gave them that by involving them.
By involving people in the process of product creation, that trust can be built.
Revealing life testimonials increases the potential of a sale. The testimonials where live interaction in the forum.

While I was doing the work and started connecting the dots for my future sales funnel - and sharing the results to only a few people in a facebook group - people started contacting me.

They need helped and willing to pay for mentorship on the sales techniques I've been using. As well, with creating their own sales funnel marketing system.

So I gave them my fee and I thought they'd run off to the hills - $5,000-$10,000 for full sales marketing funnel and system for one website.

They didn't. Professionals rarely do because they understand about value, quality and most of all, they want their troubles fixed.

What happened next is one heck of amazing journey...
