I wanted to do something to target the millions of people in my community. The market is really untouched in regards of many things like self development books. I love writing books, novels.

It is only now, my community are becoming educated in marketing, in self development, in being creative and....many rather listen to expert advice, which is...great for me!

I wanted to see how I can attract them and so I used Building On A Budget, Magnetic Sponsoring and it has worked for me, without captures too.

I joined just one forum, and began seeing what people asked and helped with their answers. This helped me to get a lot of leads. So, from this leads, I have been consistently sending emails to educate, engage, entertain, inspire and..building relationships.

 

The auto-responder email newsletter and non auto:

The response I have been getting from sending the emails newsletters have been great. I'll be going to use Aweber very soon. At moment, they are in auto-pilot but using my own designed system. The thing is, I like Aweber because it has other things I need.

You have to be patient when sending email newsletters to people who registered their name, email and phone number. I have used only name and email address. Then I tried just email, and it worked better for me.

Here's another example and this article newsletter, was designed due to a question asked by one of the people reading my email newsletters. It's on how to focus and not get distracted.

Notice, the heading is a question - Can You Tell Me How To Stay Focused And Not Be Distracted? I always use questions for my headings. It works better. I make sure for auto-responder, all articles are ready. I am a good planning and I am good at applying what I plan. I made sure I had lots of articles ready and I mean lots.


Da Daaaaa! An Idea....

I will be creating my own inner circle newsletter but not just one. The people can opt in and pau for those inner circle newsletter which has information they need. For example, one could be on self development, so I have created lots of articles on these, with images, all laid out professionally.

The other could be online marketing.

The other could be something else.

So, then I have divided everything and people recieve these by opting in, paying, and I'll promote these in future free email newsletters to my leads. They have to be of great content, valuable to them. I even got one about how to create write a book, publish it, market it, and so on. So one of these inner circles goes deep into a subject area.

 

How I built Relationship With The People On My List

So, for months I have been emailing people. Building the relationship and the word has spread. That means more leads. My newsletter are sometimes humorous too, but packed with knowledge, tips. From this alone, I have had people who have joined me to help me with my books I am developing. And I didn't pay them but rather, because I mentor them, they help in proof reading my books, etc.

Talking about books, pm's some people if they'd like a free 3D eCover, only a few here, in this betternetworker.com forum replied. So tough, because now, offer is not there. Others who replied got their free 3D eBook Cover. Here are some of the 3D ecovers for my novels. These are paper back, hard back not eBooks:

I asked the people what they thought, what they want to have, what challenges I can write about but with a solution, to help them. They also asked for a step by step guide on how I come out with ideas to write my book, especially identity, how I do the marketing and so on. So from one product, we have we call a 'continuity.' A product from a product, leading to a product. Now, I am leveraging from just one product!

How did I ask them? Easy! I emailed them and they replied. That is it. No secret stuff. Simple as that.

Hey, talk about proposal fund, right! The first book (identity) sold without much work because I have the list already, built relationship with them. It has created such a wave of excitement but most of all, trust has now set in and that's what I wanted. Trust being nurtured. Then they've asked for CDs as well, audio CDs and to take lessons from the book:

So, Magnetic Sponsoring, Building on a Budget, helped big time but I have used Mike Dillards books creatively and focused on my passion. Doing what I love and it's working as a treat. Now, from the all the leads I am collecting, and building relationship, there is the next phase. Moving them all to my hub:

There is also the training website which is my blog, I am launching. It is nearly done. Word of advice. I have been outsourcing work and it has saved me a lot of time, to focus on what I need to focus on.

Time is money or money is time. I personally value time big time, so I outsource and it has helped a great deal but make sure, your outsource to someone reputable, and has been in existence long, established and ask their customers  to see what they say about them.

Do 5 mins video training due to span of people in time and focus.

Keep giving but do so, under the basis, you are answering to the needs of the people. Find out what it is they want to learn. I made a comment box in my training website, so I can watch for any questions but also, videos in youtube will have some questions coming from people.

Be thick skinned. Don't worry about people who try to say this and that, when you upload a video. You have to be tough inside or you'll get to feel bitter, angry etc. No need to. Do what you believe and stuff the negativity.

Just because someone is into selling utilities, or books, or anything, doesn't mean we have to stick to the same process of attracting people. We need to get creative, step back, look inside the box instead of looking out of the box.

 

What To Look Out For:

I don't know why the confusion but I think sometimes we like to make it difficult for  ourselves for these reasons:

  • Don't seriously see it as a business and sit down and plan. So look at it long term.
  • Looking for some trick, secret. It's going to take..WORK! And investment in knowledge, planning, action. Anyone cutting this one, are chasing their tails.
  • Their overloading themselves with info and just do something, without first asking, "what is it I want to achieve?"
  • They don't start but get too much into surfing, and not enough building.
  • Trying to master everything before starting lol.

I have been successful with my plans, it is really happening and I am excited!

Hope ideas above helps. Magnetic Sponsoring, Building On A Budget isn't just for MLM or Network Marketing. It can be applied in every business. I just showed one example in focusing what I am passionate about and...it's work.

It's just people sometimes like to make thinks difficult, big, some OOOOOoooh secret. It's not. It takes planning, work and consistency. Many don't even start because they are thinking, thinking, planning, plannning, plannning, etc.

Start and don't let forums sometimes take all your time. Get some work done for your business.
