Why He Had The Fastest Growing And Biggest Gang In The Neighbourhood..

Once, you and I were kids that had our own gang.
Once upon a time, we chose who would be part of our gang. Once, we would say, "to be with us, you're going to have to take one minute beating."
Once, you and I, would have something valuable. We would not share it with just anyone but those who are serious. And when we walked, people knew we had something valuable.
Once, we would sit with the other kids, and we would say, "step up," and the other kid would walk and the moment he opened his mouth with questions, we would say..
"Great question mate, but listen up.."
We would move our head closer and stare right into their eyes, with confidence, and holding tight to the gem we had in our hands and say..
"You're not here to ask the questions. We are."

Then we would get a piece of paper and pencil and like CEO's of some top hot gang, we would say..
"Why you wanna be part of our gang then?
When they spoke and they saw we didn't need anyone but the ones who better tell us if they got a desire, we would write their answer down. And look up, smile, and then stare in their eyes, as though to say..
"Hmm, I see. I don't know if that's good enough mate."
They'd stare at us and they'd feel the energy, the confidence, that posture and know we weren't looking for everyone. Damn right we weren't.
Then we'd ask another question..
"Why didn't you think of being part of our gang before? Wht didn't you think of being part of a business before eh?"
And they'd reply and we'd look up in the eyes and smile, and then write down their reply.
We'd think and take our time and then we'd ask another question..
"What do you want by being part of this gang? You must want something. Cause we need to know first. Cause we like working with those who got something to bring to the table. A dream, something, an adventure. At least we know they are going to do something about it too."
They'd look down and then look up and then they'd say..
"Yeah. I want this bad. I got to get in because I need to make it happen dude. Look man. I wanna be part of your gang. I got to! I'll do whatever it takes."

Once upon a time, we'd look up and say:
"Ok, but I ain't promising you anything mate. I'll have to call you back alright after we think about it but I want a decision and none of that - I don't know yet. We ain't got time and we ain't looking for anyone either."
Once upon a time, we had something precious. We'd walk through the streets and the other youths knew it. We'd not chase anyone but they'd chase us. They'd not get pestered but they'd pester us.
And when they called using some cans with strings, as if we were some hot shot CEOS with our own office on that tree, yours and my dad built - we'd reply..
"Yeah, its me. You want to know about our bizzzzness then? Listen mate. We're not there yet with you getting all the info. I want to know first if I should give you our time to even let you sit with us and ask us. So, you wanna talk more or we close this right now, eh?"
Then the dude on the other side of the can will stop, take a deep breath and knows we ain't looking for everyone. Stuff looking for everyone. He'd say..
"Alright then! What I gotta do to ask anything?"
"Like I said, yah ain't gonna ask anything until we finished asking our questions. So, first come at this time."
Then the dude will say, "but I can't come at this time because.."
"Listen man, we got this day only and this time. You make it or not, that's not my problem. So you're in or what or I'm gonna bang this down and it's over man!"
Once upon a time, there was silence, and the dude on the other side would quickly say..
"Yo man! No, serious. I'll come. Alright, I'll be there."
"Yeah, well, if you don't, we found out what we need to know, ain't it."
And the dude would show up on that day, 10 minutes early and you be asking the question not him.
And when this dude and the rest stepped in and qualified, they knew they were with the best. They got treated like the best. They figured out what their dreams were. They worked together with you as a team. They felt damn good and hot.

They learnt the same what we did because when we started, they saw the first process of how we deal with it from day one. They duplicated it and the gang grew and attracted the best.
Once upon a time, having your own gang, dealing with your own business was no joke. Everyone were not going to think they can step up so easy and deal the business. They had to first pass some test and looking good wasn't one of them.
You had to have a very good reason and a burning one too.
We'd hold what we have with great value.
It's like anything - you'd want to hang around with best mates and people you like. You don't just go for everyone. I ain't seen no CEO of any business let anyone just step up in their family business.
I ain't seen no gang let anyone in. Maybe they see how valuable it is to have 20% of the best than 80% who ain't going to do anything but wait for someone to build their business.
Ever done 80% of ..everything? What does it feel like? Tiring eh? Not productive. Not moving, right? But it looks cool to have lots of people in the gang that does..SQUAT!
Once upon a time, we didn't let anyone in. Hey, everyone else can do that but in their gang. We wanted to be with those we liked, those who respected and valued what we have, and those who were going to fight the way we all did, to get to where we want to go.
And that's why our gang was the fastest growing gang in the neighborhood.
