His programs are without equal, in my humble opinion, as are the way he brings them forth. He practices what he preaches, and what he preaches could, in many ways, actually be a sermon of sorts.

The only thing that bothers me about Mike's teachings... the fact that they have to be taught at all! And believe me, this is not a shot at Mike in any way, shape or form. (It actually sings his praises!) This is simply an observation in the evolution of the human psyche... PERIOD.

The audacity of Mike Dillard!

Should we, as human beings, have to actually be reminded about caring for others and their needs first? Should we really have to be told how important "treating others as we want to be treated" is? Have we actually fallen so far to the side of self glorification that we can't even find our own damn image in the mirror? Or are we just the same old nimrods that Moses tried to lead out of Egypt?

Both???

I guess so...

I'm one of them. I needed to be smacked straight in the face, right in the kisser, with this simple-but-impossible-for-humans-to-grasp theology. And that is exactly what it is, no more, no less, plain and simple.

Now, before you go and make a judgement of what it is exactly Mike teaches (for those of you unfamiliar), let me tell you what it is not. It is not simply about treating others with respect, seeking out THEIR needs (not ours). It is not simple, as a matter of fact, in any way, shape or form.

It is as complex a system (a belief and practice, to be honest) no matter the subject or target audience, that there is.

On the other hand, it is just as easy a system to grasp hold of and run with; therefore, showing us all, once again, the sheer brilliance of Mr. Dillard.

Who the heck do you think you are, Mike Dillard?

You're damn good... and damn right!
