In this article I look at a few more common ‘Opportunities’ for failure. This little article could also be call “Watch the Money Fly Out of My Wallet While I Think I am Actually Getting Help” Many people have fallen prey to these two methods of Monetary Outgo because of lack of proper mentoring and/or lack of common sense. Let’s go back to square #1. There are scam artists out there that want your money. Don’t go it alone or you will wake up frustrated and broke.

5. Start Playing the “I Purchased My Leads’ Game”. This sort of Monetary Outgo occurs when you get talked into buying leads. You are told that these leads come from people who have contacted them and that they express a genuine interest in a business opportunity so they can work from home. You get their email address, phone number and complete contact info. Sounds great! All you have to do is pay $79, $89 or $99 for 5,000 or 7500, or 10,000 leads and you will be sent the leads immediately. THey will also be sent in a csv format that you simply download. Sometimes to make it sound more real you will get ‘fresh’ leads every Monday. Sometimes you are told that only you are getting these leads, no one else will get the same list. Is something smelling a bit fishy yet. If you total up all these so called targetted leads. (that is another favorite word, ‘targetted’ which is suppose to mean these people are really and truly looking for a home business opportunity) you have more emails than possibly exist for people who are all looking for a home business??? How many ways can you spell Scam? skam, skamm, scamm??? Stay away from buying leads because it is a rip off. How do I know you ask? Because I have bought thousands and thousands of leads when I was young and dumb (not mentored correctly if at all) and I did all the things my ‘marketing gurus’ told me and I turned zero prospects. It doesn’t work! These people do not want to hear about your opportunity. They are not even like the ‘Saturday Used Car Tire Kickers’. The only way you are going to get called or emailed back is if you have something of value that you can share and this means sharing for free. Ask your self this question. Would you voluntarily give out all your contact information so you could get bombarded with so called ‘great business opportunities’? I really think not. The only one who makes money on this “lead deal” is the affiliate who is hustling a particular lead generation web site.

6. Start Buying into Marketing Systems That Will Grow Your Business Overnight This is when you see some slick operator who has developed a ‘Unique’ or ‘Revolutionary’ or ‘Cutting Edge’ or ‘Advanced’ or ‘Innovative’ or ‘Mind Blowing’ Marketing System while they were struggling with network marketing for 7 years, while they were waiting tables in a small restaurant and eating only peanut butter sandwiches while living in their friends cellar. They finally broke the code and started earning over $10,000 per month and now this same system that saved them can be yours. It will only cost you $89 per month and you get a free auto responder and you will be told everything they did when they created their wealth. Does this sound familiar? ” Hi my name is John and I know what you need. You need leads and cash flow now.” If you only join my system for $47 a month I will introduce you to all my other internet buddies and they will tell you how rich they are and what they did to get the dough. I let you listen to them in a series of videos and audios and occacionally we will have a Q and A session on a toll free number. Now do everything I tell you and join all the programs I tell you (more money of course) and you will soon be like me. It takes time so be prepared to work at this system and eventually it will work for you. In order to succeed you must ‘believe’ and of course keep sending in your monthly auto payment.

Everything I have just described in the above steps can be your for free. Forget about buying leads an paying for hot shot marketing systems. You need to learn how to market yourself. You need to find a mentor or a mastermind that will help you for free and get you to understand what network marketing is all about. Only with a strong base can you really start to build your business.
