The Priceless Value of a Mentor

Let’s place a picture in your mind. You are sitting in front of your computer surfing the web on one of those traffic websites hopefully that you will find an opportunity that makes sense for you. You have heard about all the money you can make using the internet so you are busily searching the web for that perfect opportunity. Wow there are so many of them!

Which one should you choose? How do you know? You have heard about scams, Ponzi schemes and illegal pyramids but how can you really be sure what is what and which opportunity is best for you. Do you see the picture? You are searching for that great opportunity but you don’t really know what you are searching for. What a dilemma you are in!

If you only had someone that could help you. Someone that knew about programs and what it took to be successful with an Internet business.

This exact situation happened to me but I didn’t realize that I didn’t know what I was doing. Hey, I had a Masters degree and I taught high school and college math so how hard could this be?

After wasting 2 years of my life ‘playing’ on the internet with affiliate marketing, Aussie 2 ups, and a variety of worthless companies I had made a total of $135 and spent over $4,000 on crappy companies, marketing systems, purchasing leads and chasing down prospects with cold calls. What a mess! What was I doing wrong?

My life changed one day as I was playing on the Internet and received a skype message from some guy in Canada. I had other skype messages promising me that they had found the next big internet sensation that was in ‘pre-launch’ so I had to act quickly to sign up, but this Canadian message promised me nothing but some free information.

So what the heck, I started skyping back and forth with this fellow whose name was Bob. He then sent me to a few websites (all for free) and I started learning about Network Marketing.

Bob did the same crazy things I did when he was beginning to look for an online business. And yes he lost a bunch of money as well until he became ‘Mentored” and it turned his life around. Now he is a very successful online businessman and with his wife Anna they both Mentor for Free anyone who wants to learn about network marketing.

I am very fortunate to have answered that skype message as it had made a huge difference in my life and my understanding of what it takes to be successful in network marketing. I am now on my way to becoming a successful online entrepreneur and I owe it all to my mentors, Bob and Anna Bassett.

If you can find someone that will mentor you, with no strings attached, then consider yourself blessed and consider your mentor ‘Priceless’
