This is from a book I read. I’m sure you will find some interesting things that will help you decide on what company you want to partner with or if your already in a company maybe this may help realize how good or bad your companies compensation plan may be based on your expectations.

The best compensation plan has two (2) key features:

1) It works “with” the numbers

a. 15% of the population loves to have fun

b. 15% of the population are money hungry

c. 35% of the population are fact oriented

d. 35 % of the population loves helping others

2) Average people (part-timers) can build & prosper. The majority you recruit will be average people.

a. Successful networkers income comes from 2-3 people in their group

b. Multi Level Marketing statistics says that “average” distributors sponsor 2.7 people into any home based business in their career.

Avoid a compensation plan that

1) Limits placing personally sponsored people where you want

2) Forces you to go wide

3) Does not reward you from building deep

4) Won’t work for average part-timers

*Any plan wider than 3 won’t work for the masses

You want to get in a company AFTER a company has proven its staying power (normally 3-5 years), but BEFORE its momentum period (the time it takes a company to go from $100,000,000 - $500,000,000 a year)
