A Quarter 4 My Two Cents

I implemented my March Of Quarters Monthly Fundraiser requesting that people finding something useful on my site would donate at least .25 for my two cents worth of information.

Traffic to the site via Twitter.com and Craigslist.com has been exponential.

However, the conversion rate is still 0.

Sigh.

I don't want to do any SEO, because I want to know if financial stability can be achieved via online social networking alone.

Suggestions?

Have you used an auto responder? Most traffic wont convert on the first visit.

Interesting Goal

The social networking crowd is a fickle bunch.

It has been my experience that they won't back you unless you have an individual relationship with them. 

The only way to motivate the masses is to motivate those in your immediate circle of influence and have them motivate their circle and so on.  Unless people believe in you your plea is just another online money trap.

Its not like PPC where you can target the person who is searching for exactly what you are selling.
