Eric Walker at Better Networker
I am Eric Walker...a fairly new member of the community...completely excited about internet network marketing and BetterNetworker.com...
I have just completed my second reading of Magnetic Sponsoring...
I will be utilizing the blog here at BetterNetwork.com to share my thoughts about successful online network marketing, along with many of the things I am currently learning. The blog here at BetterNetworker.com will be similar to a web log rather than crafted articles.
I've also been researching the best network marketing opportunities for me.
Who is Eric Walker
Today...I want to share a little of my background and mindset.
I have been an elementary and middle school English teacher for eight years. I have a passion to teach, it's always what I've done best whether it be coaching youth baseball and basketball or teaching content writing to 14 year olds to 8th graders.
Throughout my career, I’ve discovered one truth. If one is going to be a teacher, they have to be a learner FIRST. I feel strongly about this as it applies to everything in life.
Although I love teaching; and the benefits; and the secure paycheck; and the summers off...I have realized I have bigger financial goals. So I decided to pursue network marketing.
And with network marketing I can still have the relationships I’ve cherished in the public education field. Good, positive relationships are the cornerstone to being successful in any endeavor.
As a teacher, I have mastered the ability to convey information effectively for a variety of learners. Network marketing isn't much different, except now I am leveraging my skills as a teacher to earn more as a "network educator."
That's right, I wrote "network educator." You see, I am not a guru or an expert. Really, I am a learner, a listener and an action taker. I apply what I learn. Different steps take different amounts of time. And lastly, I teach.
Learn, apply, teach.
Learn, apply, teach.
I repeat this process over and over. This is my model for providing value and positioning my web presence in the network marketing industry as a “solutions provider.” I am a home business teacher.
It's worth it! Think back to when you were learning how to multiply or divide with fractions. I call it "Fraction Freakout" because every year there would be the same struggles...
And the same triumph!
When did we stop that learning process?
Anyway, I was determined NOT to fail and so began the process of learning and applying and teaching. Over and over.
Now, I've learned enough and I've applied enough to return doing what I do best, and that is teach. Get more information to find out how I approach teaching other internet network marketers establish their online presence and grow their home business.

We are all Students...
Eric, you are point on. I love to teach as well and agree that we are students, and anytime we begin to think we have arrived, then its time for a reality check. Simply, if we lose the desire to keep learning, we begin to move backwards. Great Post.
Best Regards,
Kevin Brake
Great Article Eric

Best Learners are the Best Teachers (are the Best Leaders)
Hey Kevin,
Thanks for dropping by my blog. It's great to interact with like-minded people here at BN. I am finding that the best network marketers and home business owners are all teachers in some form or another. Makes me want to get back on my old public school network and begin sending emails to the other public school teachers letting them know of "this" opportunity.
You're right, when we lose the desire or forget to always be learning - leading with learning, it's inevitable that we will slide backward or stay stuck in one place.
Keep growing.
Deborah, you are very likeable.
Deborah,
Katie told me you two connected on the telephone. She had great words of praise for you. Thank you for your kind words. You are a good writer too. I've been reading your stuff. You have a great long weekend celebrating the things you're thankful for. Take care.
Simplicity
Hi Eric,
Reminds me of the KISS principle. Great to have it brought back to such simple terms. Thank you.
