Internet Network Marketing Leads Generation Using Sandwich Pages Throughout Your Web of Content

I spoke with a colleague who had created a good starting foundation of web content.  Yet, not much traffic had come as a result.  I discovered that most of his content was located at his blog.

Blogging is essential, especially if your Building On A Budget. It’s a great way to interact with your readers, and build a growing audience. Also, it’s your opportunity for people to understand who you are, and what your business ethic is like.

Although, and some may disagree, unless you’re a master blogger, having a majority of your content on just your blog isn't going to bring heavy traffic.

Your web of content is like a portfolio, the key is to diversify.

Post your content, especially articles, at a variety of social marketing sites. I use Ezine Articles, Squidoo Lens, Hub Pages, my BetterNetworker Blog and most of them all have a link pointing back toward my blog.

It’s fine to write on the same topics, but never submit duplicate content. When writing on the same topics, link the articles to one or more of your other articles (or relevent articles at your blog).

Try a Sandwich Page

"Sandwich Pages" are best to use if you're promoting your affiliate products. If you’re promoting…say, for example…Magnetic Sponsoring, or any other affiliate product, or even your own product, don't take them directly to your capture page, or sales page. Instead, link to the sandwich page.

The sandwich page is a review or a testimonial page or any further information you can provide about the product or service. Create as many appropriate links to that page from across your web of content as possible, then from there you can link to your capture page.

No one wants to just see a hyper link that goes to a capture page, it's less abrupt to take them to a page you've created that provides more information.

This creates more value, more information, and is even more targeted to people who are very interested.

Anyone can link everything to…say, for example…the Magnetic Sponsoring capture page. Set yourself apart on this one, don’t be like everyone else using it as if it were a replicated website page and you were some phony second rate marketer passively begging to get that person on your list.

Now, from this Sandwich page, you can put your link to the actual sales or capture page.

Two things occur when you do this:

1. Three of your pages that have been visited – your web content page, your Sandwich Page and your sales or capture page.

2. You create attraction because you aren’t pushing the sale, you're providing value with more information. This keeps the prospect with you longer. This builds credibility and trust.

Stand Out and Be Different

When your prospects click on a link they think will provide information, that's all they want to find. They don't want your long-winded sales page, and they may not be ready (yet) to give up their information at your form.

Give more information. If your potential prospect is still interested after reading your Sandwich Page, they will click on the opt-in or buy link knowing that they will be taken to your sales page. It’s expected. In this sense, it's also more natural.

The prospects that continue beyond your Sandwich Page and opt-in to your list are really interested. Now you have a prospect. It’s a sorting system that saves you time.

Know the difference between a browser and a prospect.

taking a bite of the sandwich

This was great. I've been promoting the same idea for months and when I do it, I get more opt ins because I didn't just shove them into an capture page. I use blogger for most of my sandwich pages because they are so easy to build and absolutely Un Intimidating. (Of course I design them that way) but Blogger is familiar to many people on the web so they are used to that format.

Thank you Eric for posting this up for the community, more people could benefit from doing this and I hope that the idea really catches on. :)
