Here Is How You Can Survive in MLM

I receive quite  a few calls/emails inquiring about how I market my business and cover my overhead.  It amazes me how most Network Marketers just don't get it! Hope this helps!

I would like to share with you the "how" you can survive in this industry.

You can build relationships, both offline and online.  It may take you years to build however, it will be worth it! You can build relationships online through social media, email campaigns, using skype etc.  Building relationships through conversation, email, or chatting, or attending big events! Below are a few ways to build relationships.

  • Ask questions:
  1. How is the weather? 
  2. What type of work do you do?
  3. Are you open to looking at something outside of Realestate?
  4. Great! You're in MLM? What company?  How is that working for you?
  •  Find a connection:
  1. How long have you lived in NJ? Great!  I was born and raised there.
  2. Is that your baby in the background?  How many?  Would you like to put the phone down and tend to him/her?

Have you heard the fortune is in the list? Well, it is!  Use an autoresponder, create an email campaign. Place ads using a lead capture page.  A great start will be to use your own.  If you do not have the time to create one.  Use your links in MagneticSponsoringOnline.com

How are you paying for your overhead?  Marketing? Business expenses? You should use a funded proposals.  A funded proposals, is just what it sounds like.  You are offering a product/service to others using that income to cover your overhead, marketing, and or business expenses.  Most people fail in MLM because they see their overhead as another expense.  Oh no!  It's far more than that! There are several ways that you can use Funded Proposals.  I solely use them to offer to everybody and cover my advertising cost! Whether they are in my primary business or not! I use them to help others build their business. 

Here's what happens when you help others. They either become a part of your list, become a friend, want to joint venture with you,  or join your primary business.  You are in a win-win situation.  MLM is not about your Company.  MLM is about helping others, and branding yourself.

Train and support your team members.  You can use your company system to help you.  If you do not have a system, find one and stick to it.  Systems work, people fail.  You should not want your team plugging into you, but a system.  Communication is key, when training and supporting your team members. 

Finally, wow your customers! When you made your last purchase did the salesman give you his name, a business card, send you a thank you card/email? We just purchased a motorcycle, before we walked in the house our phone was ringing. It was our salesman calling, he wanted to know if we made it home safe.  I felt wowed!  He also communicated via email, and calls occasionally.  Now that is customer service!  Will we remember him?  Will we refer others to him?  Of course! You can send a card/emails for any occasion such as, Holidays, birthdays just to name a few.

My friend, if you are willing to use these simple techniques you will survive in this industry! Is it the easiest thing to do?  No, neither is duplicating Tiger Woods, Donald Trump, or Mike Dilliard. However, they figured out what it takes to survive in their business, and they choose to share with us.  Pay it forward, you'll be glad that you did.  Thanks to all that contributed to my success (long list).  I will never forget you.
