Home business success; every networker wants to know the secret that will bring them success. Unfortunately when honest people tell folks about what it is going to take to gain such success, they seem to want to put their hands in their ears and start singing, "La, la, la" to keep from having to hear the answer.

We want to be able to join the company of our choice, get the company produced website, listen to a few conference calls and collect the checks. After all that is what we are told will happen. We are often "hustled" into this great industry with promises of no work and all play, just fake it till you make it!

The truth of the matter is that building a successful home business requires the same kind of planning and effort that it takes to build a successful business anywhere. You need knowledge, drive, motivation, effort, and time. You also need to know yourself well enough to know which of the multitude of ways to build a home business will work for you.

Be careful if you are hearded into a single method of team building and told that if you are going to get help you must build one way. Every business owner (that's you) has unique skills and talents and needs to find the method of building that suits them. When you find the way that works for you, nothing will hold you back.

Keep learning, because there is power in applied knowledge. The more you know about you, this industry, and team building, the more successful you will become. Unfortunately companies come and go in networking but the well learned and thinking networker will never be left in a lurch if his company has problems. Keep learning, what you gain will be the life-blood of your success.

Plan, test, test, test. Make sure that your methods and your labors are productive. Plan your work and then test, test, test. Sometimes what you think will work well just doesn't produce. Don't be afraid to abandon less productive options for one's that may produce better. Remember it is your business and how it produces is up to you.

Finally, duplicate leadership. Training leaders is really the only thing that will bring long-term success. If you don't have leaders who will be responsible for their own businesses, you are no more than an employer with employees who are looking to him/her for success. Leaders in your organization will bring stability and strength. Build leaders and you will build success.
