Is there an Obstacle in your path? You must persist.

Persistence is when no matter what you never quit on yourself. You keep pushing forward. Persistence means never quitting when an obstacle that is thrown in your path. I look at it this way, the universe is testing me to see how badly I want it.  How do I keep persisting? I have a huge why! I do not allow the negative things around me affect the way I feel. I surround myself with positive people (mastermind group) and stay close to the fire. It is also important to have my "me" time and meditate and reflect on what is my purpose and what must I do.   Yesterday, The universe threw a huge obstacle.  It was a real boulder!  It dropped down right smack in my path. Right in the middle of my road to my future. It wants to block me from achieving my goals. It wants to slow me down.   In the past, I would have flipped out and had an anxiety attach.  Wow, I would have felt like my world was coming to an end.   Now I simply say to myself....   Isn't this interesting?!   Well it really is just an obstacle. It is one of those things that I can't control and so I won't try. At the surface it looks like a huge mountain. It would make someone want to give up and quit. Someone who is not 9 feet tall and bullet proof. Really it is just an obstacle. I will need to figure out how to work around it or maybe I can just remove it.  Yes, It may temporarily slow me down, but that is okay.   It may take a little navigation and help from others, but I'll remove that boulder. There is no question about that.    So today I choose to focus on what I can change and what I can do. I can focus on my goal and stick to the plan. This is simply a temporary set back.   Sometimes the universe gives us big Obstacles to try to throw us off our path.  I will not fall for these tricks.   Your Friend for Life!   Wendy
