Choosing a Primary Business is like Shopping for a Handbag!

I know there are some guys who are reading this and thinking "what?" But I know you ladies out there know what I mean by shopping for a handbag. 

Now ladies - When we have an event or special occassion to go to, we go out of our way to find 'the right handbag' to match our outfit. 

It is selected with precision and care, right down to the finest details such as: Shade, size, room enough to hold essentials like our make up, umbrella, mobile phone, purse and keys.

So that being said, if your are looking for an online business, the same care and attention should be taken.

So what are the kind of things you should look for when selecting your primary company. 

After all, this is going to be the company that liberates you, makes you additional income on a regular basis, hopefully make you redundant out of your full time job and with the vision of you being financially free or near enough after 3 - 5 years hopefully.

Key Points To Consider:

1. Yes, its important to do your due diligence, and check out the type of products and services being offered by that company. 
2. Do they stand up to the current economic climate?
3. Are these a fit with you?  Can you see yourself being able to make a profit out of them.  Do you think you will be capable of talking to people about your new business products or the services? 
4. Start Up Costs - are they high risk? What are your returns like? View the compensation plan.
5. Ongoing Costs - Are they up front or hidden? Everything should be transparent if they are an ethical company that abides by the Direct Selling Association.

Think about these things carefully. 

Then other things to consider would be:

1. Integrity - Look at the leaders, the founders of the company.

2. Training - What training is there on offer with the company

3. Working with a Team - Is there a community that you can be a part of.  This is so important as you can be lonely in the home business world.
