Do You Fear Success?

How many times have you failed to achieve success?

Do you feel that there is something deep seated within you that is stopping you from getting that success.

Sometimes we need to take time out and look at what is holding us back.

Many times, our conscious and sub conscious minds do not agree with each other, for instance I knew a person, let's call her Sophie, now Sophie was in Network Marketing, she had joined this company a year ago, and at first seemed to do very well.

She steadily climbed the matrix but after a year only got so far. She hadn't changed her methods which she had used when she first begun and what made her successful in those early days, however,the leads and people seemed to have dried up. Now Sophie contact her upline as she was instructed, and between them they went though her numbers, her activity level and her advertising strategy, but to no avail. Sophie appeared to have reached a pinnacle where she could not move no further.

She eventually got disheartened and left that Network Marketing company after only 18 months, but it didn't put her off Network Marketing, she had this urge to work for herself, to be able to gain financial freedom one day.

With that dream in mind Sophie went on to join another Network Marketing Company, and again she done really well in her early days climbing quickly up the programe, however, just before breaking through to the level that would have made all the difference to having a full time job or being independent working for yourself, Sophie stalled again.

This time, she had a great mentor who was monitoring and seeing her beginning to stall, she took Sophie to one side and gave her a real heart to heart. Her mentor and Sophie discovered she had a dreaded fear of being successful, because it meant her dreams would come true, and for some reason Sophie had been suppressing this, and the fact that success always happens to others not to her.

The reason SOphie had done so well in the beginning stages was the fact that her dreams and hopes where aligned and that she was focussed on this matter, but when the reality started to set in and Sophie could see herself becoming successful, her 'drive' and 'passion' suffered which in turn affected her business.
