Facing Objections is A Matter Of Course in Business
When I first started out in Network Marketing, I dreaded picking up the phone. Don't get me wrong I loved getting leads, in fact I was getting too many, and due to the fear I had of talking to people, I probably lost a lot of sales in those early days.
Now this is a tricky subject to tackle, as there is no right or wrong way and because there are so many different types of objection.
If you are new to marketing or have a home business then the only advice I can give is to get used to the objections. This is part of the game.
For every 10 people odds are you will get 9 out of 10 objections, then as you talk to more and more people the odds get better, you may get 2 or 3 YES's out of every 10 people appproached. If you do then this is a great statistic, but you have to work at it. This does take time, and is not an overnight process. However, there are a few things you can do to improve on your statistics.
How To Handle Objections
- Rejection is not personal, that is what you have to say to yourself. Don't be offended, if someone doesn't want to join your business right no, it may be that the timing is not right for them, or they a just not impressed with you.
- It's how you handle the objection that puts you in a position for the prospect to come back to you again.
