4 Steps To Building A Successful Online Business

The Internet is huge, and I'm sure by now you already know there
are tons and tons of programs, and opportunities out there that
claim to be the next greatest thing, and some even claim they can
make you tons of cash.

However I've seen it for years now. People failing time after time
that is, and today I'd like to share with you a few things that I
myself do online and I believe you too should do them as well for
your best shot at success.

#1 Get A Website

Let's be serious now. If you want to make money online you're going
to need your own website. I see programs that say "you don't need a
website" or that they will give you a website. WRONG. You need your
own site so you can have complete control over it. Plus having your
own website allows you to sell yourself not someone else.

#2 Build A List

I know you're so sick and tired of hearing it, but it's the truth
Paul. One of the quickest and easiest ways of making any money
online is to build your own email list. I wouldn't say it if it
wasn't true.

What you'll need first is an auto responder.

#3 Free Content / Affiliate Products / Your Own Product

Promote to your email list. Sounds simple but a lot of people just
slam their email list with product after product, and people hate
that! So what I do and recommend you do as well is promote valuable
free content to your list. You can send reports, reviews, free
downloadable products etc.

Next after you warm people up with great free content and products
then you can recommend them a product or opportunity they must pay
for. Some will buy it some wont it's just how the business works.
If you don't own your own product then I recommend using Clickbank
like I do. They have thousands of products you can promote for free
and earn up to 75% commissions.

#4 Stay Away From Easy Money

I'll be the first to admit when I got started online I fell for the
quick money makers. Programs and opportunities that claimed to make
money fast and easy. These types of programs explode out of the
gate then guess what? After 2 - 4 months they die completely.

Now two things happen. Either you made some money from the massive
explosion when it first came out (which usually only happens for
seasoned marketers) or you invested a lot of your money, time, and
energy with nothing to show for it. I HIGHLY recommend you stay
away from these programs.

I know how tough it can be online with all the junk that's out there, but what
I mentioned about 1 - 3 is exactly what I do online. I've had
success selling small ticket and big ticket items using steps 1 -
3.
