What happened to BlogRush?
As a former BlogRush user I thought
the bloggers out in Betternetworker land would like to know that
John Resse announced he is shutting down BlogRush.
There were a lot of naysayers and critics when he first launched it
(aren't there always). So who cares about them.
There is a more valuable lesson for those of us who GET it.

wrong mindset
Yeah... unfortunately the majority of the folks who installed this service had the self-serving mindset... they were only interested in what it can do for THEM and what others can do for THEM.
Also, the tool, in most cases, didn't add to the end-user experience. So over time, the loyal readers just started to tune it out. Bugger.
