About Ambit

Ambit Energy was founded in 2006 by Jere Thompson, its CEO.  A multi-level marketing organization, Ambit distributes electricity and natural gas to retail customers in New York, Illinois,Texas, Pennsylvania and Maryland.

The company has a distributor base of 70,000 and a customer database of over 200,000. 

According to the company, an average one out of four customers becomes a distributor, not only to earn residual income, but to take advantage of reward points that include travel opportunities based on referrals made.

The company offers two services: natural gas & electricity.

Ambit offers two services: electricity and natural gas, available only in New York, Illinois,Texas, Pennsylvania and Maryland, with plans to announce available in other states in the near future. There are various rate plans available.
