About Color Me Beautiful
Established in the late 1980’s Color Me Beautiful Cosmetics is based on the concept outlined in the book of the same name, written by Carole Jackson in 1981. Color Me Beautiful was a New York Times Best Selling paperback for 11 years and sold 16 million copies. The thought of using the principles in the book as the basis for a cosmetics company was formulated in 1988, and the company came into being in 1993, founded by author Carole Jackson and present CEO Steve DiAntonia.
The book outlined the concept of using colors to complement individual coloring. That concept, based on “Seasons,” allows Color Me Beautiful to offer a wide array of makeup colors to suit individual differences.
Today Color Me Beautiful Cosmetics Company sells beauty products from leading brand names like Adrian Arpel, Iman, Patti Labelle, Flori Roberts, in addition to its own line, through brick and mortar stores as well as through independent distributors.
Color Me Beautiful Products
Color me Beautiful makes use of seasonal color theory and color analysis to help women design appropriate wardrobes and choose the right cosmetic colors to create a more positive image. This company markets and sells its own products in addition to other brands such as Flori Roberts, Adrien Arpel, Gale Hayman and Patti Labelle. This company also provides special skincare products for Asian and African skin tones.
