dōTERRA was formed in 2008 by a team of healthcare professionals and business people who wanted to make high-grade essential oils available to everyone. Their aim was not only to raise the industry standard of quality, but also to make therapeutic grade essential oils accessible to all people and to educate the public about their use. Since the original product launch in April, 2008, the product catalogue has expanded to include nutritional supplements, body care and spa products, and household cleaning products.
The company both markets and manufactures essential oils and oil blends, sourced from all over the globe. The company operates in North America, Europe, Asia, Australia and Latin America.
CPTG (Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade) is a registered trademark of dōTERRA Holdings LLC, and is an internal quality standard, not a government or industry regulatory standard.
The name dōTERRA means “gift of the earth.”
dōTERRA Products
dōTERRA manufactures and sells essential oil extracts, oil blends, and personal care/wellness items, including nutrition supplements and household cleaning products. The dōTERRA product line is divided into four categories: Essential Oils, Wellness, Spa, and Living.
dōTERRA Essential Oils Pure essential oils with no fillers and no synthetic ingredients, proprietary essential oil blends, and accessories such as oil diffusers.
dōTERRA Wellness Dietary supplements such as vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and macronutrients.
dōTERRA Spa Personal care products, including skincare and bath products formulated from dōTERRA essential oils.
dōTERRA Living A line of non-toxic home care products such as laundry, kitchen, and other cleaning solutions, all based on dōTERRA essential oils.
