eLotteryConnecticut company offering online lottery solutions.
ELottery was founded in 1993 in Stamford, Connecticut. The company works with the governmental lottery industry to provide assistance with online sales. They also work with the communications, databases, telephones and other services associated with lotteries. Its system is protected under three different US patents.
The company is run by experienced industry men who have combined as a team to integrate the internet into the massive infrastructure that a state lottery requires. Their first project was for the National Indian Lottery in 1996, where more than $30 million was invested to develop a functioning online lottery system, which operated until 1998 when an adverse ruling was presented by the District Court of Idaho.
Since then, the company has grown to be one of the leaders in its field, working with diverse clients such as the Jamaica Lottery, the Idaho Lottery and the Maryland Lottery.
The company offers a service which makes processing and managing lottery subscription services more efficient and less error-prone, automating the transaction process so lottery players are served better. Emails are replied to via postal mail in order to give the lottery a more ‘authentic’ feel. Since the process is automated, it can run on a 24 hour basis, and building a subscriber base is easier. The company’s revenue model claims that its marketing is focused on 5% penetration within 24 months of the first ticket sale, which generates $1m per 100,000 people.
