About IA Benefits
Founded in Dallas, Texas by James Wood in 1982, IAB Benefits is a nonprofit organization dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of families by providing affordable medical access.
The company does not sell medical insurance, but rather offers a discount plan which provides discounts from healthcare providers who are collaborating with the company’s discount program. Plan members are still obligated to pay for their healthcare services after the discount has been issued. Additionally, the discount plan is not available in all states.
People can either sign up as members, or join as representatives to sell the company’s plan onto other people and make commissions from sales.

IAB Medical Savings Plus
The Medical Savings Plus plan offers a variety of discounts (from 20%) over a variety of medical disciplines, including pharmacy, wellness, infertility treatment, hearing, cosmetic services, dental and alternative care.
IAB Security Plan
The security plan was introduced in 2009, and improves the scope of the company’s discount plan to encompass dental care, protection against identity theft, professional legal counsel and monitored home protection.
IAB Dental Plan
The company’s dental plan was introduced in 1991. IAB state that this remains one of the company’s most popular benefits.
