About Luzier
Luzier Cosmetics was founded in 1923 under the name of Luzier Special Formula Laboratories. Its founder, Thomas Luzier, having witnessed a nationwide sales explosion of his products –after foreseeing a growing opportunity and expanding the company’s product line to meet the market’s needs following World War I– incorporated the company and moved it into a new office, distribution and manufacturing facility in Kansas City’s downtown in 1929.
The company was purchased in 1977 by the Craven Family and has recently moved into more modern distribution and manufacturing facilities in order to expand through catalog and online shopping.
Distributing its products through direct sales and individualized beauty service, the company claims 4,000 consultants nationwide.
