Melaleuca Revenue
When the company first began with the Ball brothers, the company’s revenue grew to approximately $90,000 per month. However, the company’s front loading of its distributors coupled with an unfortunate run in with the FDA, caused Melaleuca to end the year with major financial losses. After it was dissolved and rebuilt with Frank VanderSloot at the helm it generated $300,000 in 1985, growing to $1.2 million in 1986, $11.6 million in 1988 and $17 million in 1989. Revenues jumped to $105 million in 1991. Currently the company lay claims to $887 million in annual revenues.
